Do you watch football on Thanksgiving?

Having the Lions play on Thanksgiving is as much a part of the holiday as a good afternoon snooze. And they sometimes go together.

But that doesn’t mean the Lions will be knocked off their Thanksgiving perch anytime soon. The league — or most of it — appears to value the tradition that goes along with having the Lions and Cowboys play on Thanksgiving.

The Lions are a Turkey Day tradition. They are struggling now (thanks Matt Millen!) but, generally, have been competitive on Thanksgiving!

I have been watching Thanksgiving football for 49 years. I love the Packers-Lions match up and consider it as important as the turkey!

Dallas and Detroit played when others refused. Now others want a peice of Thanksgiving Day Pie, too bad. Good for Detroit and Dallas.

The Lions perpetually stink however they're part of a great Thanksgiving tradition; I typically route for the underdog, the Lions!

If having the Lions and Cowboys play on Thanksgiving Day is a tradition then have the Lion and Cowboys play each other and give us a good second game to watch!
