    Gary Patterson, TCU

TCU's come the farthest from the back-of-th'-pack. They deserve BCS consideration. 2d choice would be Harbaugh @ Stanford-beaten SC & Orego

      Brian Kelly, Cincinnati

Cincinnati wasn't even picked to finish in the top 3 in the Big East and Brian Kelly has one game left to sweep the conference

Nick Saban: TOPS in making an idiot of himself on national TV, berating his players. He's got my vote. You bet.

It has to be narrowed down to the teams we DIDN'T expect great things from: TCU, Cincy, GaTech or Stanford.

Texas, Alabama and Florida are doing well, but as expected. Yes, the coaches deserve credit for keeping their teams in the top 5 for the entire season - that is no small feat. But, their paycheck reflects that nothing less should be expected.

Stanford lost to Wake Forest, Oregon state and Arizona.  Paul Johnson is tops at on the field decisions, making gutsy calls and making during the game adjustments.  Only loss to Miami of Florida, a team playing 2nd game in 10 days while GT  playing its 3rd game in 12 days.   Tech's SOS is in top 15.

Mike Gundy of Oklahoma State- look at what his team accomplished with all the adversity they have had.

                    Imagine that.

I chose Chip Kelly for the incredible turnaround he orchestrated for Oregon during the course of the season.

Imagine my surprise as I keyed "submit vote", only to see my vote change to "Urban Meyer" right before it was accepted.

Are these votes being tallied in Florida?

Geez, SEC, you play enough patsies during the season--gotta throw the vote too?

You could make a great case for 3 or 4 of these coaches. I chose Brian Kelly. Cincinnati came out of nowhere. Nobody picked Cincinnati or TCU for that matter to be where they are now.

I hope he does this well at ND
