It is very possible but the real question is whether they win in the playoffs. I'm rooting for them. Go Saints!

No. Plus they'll be a bigger threat deep into the playoffs if they get their asses handed to them at least once before the post-season.

Suppose they get to Week 14 undefeated, but have already clinched the home field? Rest the starters and who cares if they lose 1 or 2?

They,ve proven that they can win even when not playing well (e.g., the last 2 weeks). Also, their remaining schedule is not very tough.

Big Saint's fan but I think they may drop one along the way. The Pats went undefeated and look where they wound up.

Been Saints fan for a Long Time, definitely remember the Days when our Number 1 offensive Tool, was a man by the Name of Morten Anderson. Don't also forget the I think 96 season, when D was rated number 1 in NFL, and our Defensive leader by the name of Patrick Swilling was playing. We need not worry about going undefeated but keeping focus from week to week and keeping Players feet planted well to the GROUND !!!

                        Peace Out !!!

They've got talent, they've got tenacity, they've got a fairly easy schedule (as long as they don't get complacent and start playing "down" to teams like the Lambs and the Yuckaneers), they've got great coaching. All they need is a little luck and they can indeed "run the table". Biggest tests: Pats, Cowboys, Falcons in ATL.

                          GEAUX SAINTS!!!!

Been A Saints Fan for 20+ years, through good and bad, well ok through bad mostly. These Saints are for real. Lived in areas where the Saints weren't even known. PA, AZ , CA, ND. But I never gave up. They can go 16 - 0. They are better than the 2007 Pats, and have not had to cheat to do it. All I can say is "Who Dat?, We Dat!!"

Undefeated, no. Playoffs, yes. Super Bowl, maybe. If the Saints can clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs, then you can start believing.

I am a Bears fan, but I really like the Saints. What a fun team to watch. I do not think they will go 16 - 0 because everybody will be shooting for them at the end. And why worry about 16 - 0? Worry about the SuperBowl, that is where their focus should be. I can not see anyone in the NFC beating them. They way they played last night, I do not see Indy, Pitts, Pats, or anyone else beating them either. If it is not my Bears, go Saints!

It's who can go undefeated in the playoffs - that is the real question. Who really cares if they drop one in the regular season? Look at all the championship teams in the past and you'll see a few L's on their records. Of the 2 that got to the Super Bowl without a loss, one lost and the other squeaked by. It may look good, and it gives the scribes something to blather on about, but it isn't necessary to be a championship team. This is the NFL after all, not the NCAA.

I don't want them to go undefeated...fortune doesn't always smile on the undefeated team...however I think they won't simply because towards the end, I doubt that Payton plays his starters. You know that if he does, some over eager defender on the team that didnt make it is going to be trying to hurt someone. Why risk it?

Got to agree with most here . . The Saints are pretty good and yes they have a strong desire to get to the Super Bowl...Sure they may get beat once or even twice BUT so what - - as long as they make it to the Bowl they have a chance of showing their talent.

As for those saying crooked officiating - HUH??? I think the Saints have gotten more criminal crooked penalities by bought officials than any other team.  And as for the Patriots - who gives a rat's A$$ about a crooked team that videoed call signals and cheated to get a winner type reputation?  Talk about some sick puppies out there.  This is a sport - not a cheaters market.  Lets be honest about how we play and conduct business.  As far as I am concerned they should be banned from the league.

The Saints are overdue for their late season swoon ... I predict they'll drop 2 or maybe even three games out of the next four ...
