Dick Buckus would make Ray Lewis look like a boy scout

I agree with Dick Butkus, he should have been number one and I also agree with Ray Lewis. I think a lot of the Linebackers from earlier era's were horrifying, Lambert, Hamm, LT, Greg Lloyd was scary. As for pitchers yeah sure Randy Johnson was intimidating, but could he take Nolan Ryan? And what about Bob Gibson?! He was intimidating. One more thing bout Butkus, in watching him it always seemed to me that he was out to murder whoever had the ball, I mean actually assasinate them. Man he seemed evil when he had the gear on.

Surprised no hockey players were mentioned, especially since they actually do fight. Id say Tyson is the clear number 1. They are not kidding that literally some fighters were done before they ever got into the ring with Tyson. The Leon Spinks fight comes to mind.

Dick Butkus for sure, but don't forget Larry Czonka.  He's the only running back I ever saw get an unnecessary roughness penalty while running over tacklers.

Cub pitcher Lynn McGlothlen...dude took a line drive off his shiney head, knocked him on his butt. He then got up and pitched 4 more innings of 12 hit ball. Thats is scarey.

Lyle Alzado should be in there before Lott - so should Butkus

Andy Pettite! That hawk-like nose, low hat, glove to the face, leaving only room enough to see those piercing eyes that can stare straight through any batter! Now, that's scary.

Lott-Cut finger tip off to continue play in the game! Butkus would never have done that.

Tyson- If I can't beat you I'll bite your ears off!

                              Ray Lewis

                              Bob Gibson

                              Kermit Washington

                              Ty Cobb

The list is too short at just five.
