Aaron Rodgers threw a pair of touchdown passes, Mason Crosby kicked a team-record 56-yard field goal and the Green Bay Packers beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-20 on Sunday despite a vintage performance by Michael Vick.
Vick can't save Eagles in loss to Packers
Seeded on Sun Sep 12, 2010 8:02 PM EDT (NBC Sports)

Vick is a lowlife scumbag abuser of animals.
Vick can't save the Eagles from Andy Reid: what a stooooooopid call on 4th down and 1: a sneak from the shotgun? WTF?
Michael Vick? Who's that? Why isn't he still in prison?
He may have "saved" the day but they still lost. I don't recall him saving any dogs..........POS
His arrogance stuns
: "I feel like if I had been out there for four quarters, maybe we would've had a chance to win the game," Vick said.
If they'd had choke chains around their neck and he had the leash, he'd have won.
I have a couple of 150 pound dogs that want to talk to this total waste of oxygen. Of course, he fits Philly!
I've got a couple that can be backup for your dogs. I could visit the animal shelter here and pick up more. I hope that the players who are dog lovers don't hold back when they sack him.
I have always despised Dallas but cheered for them against Philadelphia and will again this year. Even when sick vick leaves, I'll still hate the iggles for getting him in the first place. But I won't cheer for Dallas anymore. Just never again root for da iggles. Stupid dumbasses!
wow, I always cheer against Dallas too, I refused to watch the cowboys/eagles game cuz i wanted them both to lose
I accidentally turned this game on, then realized I was watching the puppy-killer and the disgusting team that hired him. TV off. I'll never watch the Eagles play again, no matter when.
Good for you!!
Good please do not look at the game you losers, all you haters do not care about dogs. You are mad because your sorry butts can not play football and make a million dollars.
Yeah, I don't care about dogs. I have 3. YOu can ask them. And I am just sick that I'm not an abusive POS that killed dogs by horrific methods.
I sure wish I could be MV. Sweet.......I'd rather live on my SS than have his millions and his lack of moral fiber. His lack of compassion. His lack of grace. And particularly his lack of brains.
Pat....me and my 3 agree. Just cause joe would rather place his mouth around sick vick's manroot, doesn't meant we think he's the pillar of society! The ONLY thing vick was sorry about is getting CAUGHT! His apologists can have him! But if he comes in my neck of the woods.....I'm willing to help facilitate his residing in that special place in hell that's reserved for scum like him!
I just found another team I can root AGAINST....good job Eagles for hiring this pathetic excuse for a human being
I wish Vick was still with Atlanta. He's exciting as hell to watch. Philadelphia was lack-luster until he took over and made a really football game out of it. A real nail-biter. Vick spent 21 months in prison. He's done his time. Grace is the ability to find forgiveness. All those who judge Vick need to look at themselves and see where they've been given grace. People still root for the Ravens and they have killers on that team!
I'll make up my own mind as to when I consider that the cretin is trying to improve his personal growth. Why don't you look up some of the "speeches" that he has given to children?
You can read his sorry-ass whining about "someone who didn't have my best interest at heart caused me to lose my money" He actually said that to CHILDREN. Impressionable CHILDREN>
very well said Lloyd . some people seem to think they have lived a life with sin. they really need to look at themselves alot harder if they continue a hatred for this man, who has served his time.
I ain't grace and I don't have to forget what he did to poor innocent animals. You can take a boy out of the hood but apparently you can't take the hood out of the boy. Ask woopie. She defended him!
Our next door neighbors two dogs were stolen by dog fighters and Bootsie was a wonderful old sheperd and Tyger was a loving pit puppy. If someone for a second thought they caould come get MINE.......I have a putterand the working end has their name on it. I have no problem going to jail to send them to HELL!
Lloyd S.-
Well put.
The eagles would be wise to make Vick the starter. He's night and day compared to Kolb who's been a backup for the past 3 seasons for a reason. I don't even like the Eagles but Vick is exciting to watch and still has the magic and skill.
I wonder if he can outrun a police dog?
why would he have to outrun a police dog? Can you?
hes done his time, let it go... or just sit back and hate him. I dont think he really cares eithe way, he is still going to be a great athlete.
Ghetto thug dog killer.
Mr. Vick should not be in the NFL.
why?
what he did off the field, he has already served his time for. Unless you are the judge of his life and can have him executed.
No Vick has not served his time!
What do people think that just because he lost so much money and served some time that a "Very high percentage of American Football Fans who happen to be Dog lovers would just look the other way?"
No they won't! To millions of Dog Loving Football fans, Michael Vick is "a true HORROR of a human being!"
In case anyone forgets... he has not served "ALL his time" because part of the punishment is to be "Forever Disgraced" in front of American Football fans.
He is serving his time TODAY, TOMORROW and ALWAYS...
Someday he will pass away like all of us. But until that day he will be remembered MOST for being a "Psycho KILLER of man's best friend!
He may also be remembered for "attempting to be a football player."
Most people today remember O.J. as an accused murderer... fewer and fewer remember him as a star football player.
Vick has EARNED every ounce of public scorn that he receives!
let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone.
And Im not even Religious ..
What Vick did was despicable. But he did his time and paid the price. There are many who will NEVER forgive or forget. That's your right. But love him or hate him, he is still one of the most talented QB's in the league. Philly didn't sign him because of his "sparkling personality," they signed him because he's a phenomenal athlete. It's all how you perform on the gridiron on Sunday that counts when it's all said and done. He deserves a chance at redemption and to get his career and life back on track. If he blows it, then all the naysayers can bask in their self righteousness. If he conducts himself as a model player and citizen and does his job, then it's proof that people can change. There are many who have done worse and never spent one day in jail. "Judge lest ye be judged." I hope it works out for both him and the Eagles. But I still think releasing McNabb is going to come back to haunt them.
