Denard Robinson capped another electrifying performance Saturday by running for a 2-yard touchdown with 27 seconds left, sending Michigan to a 28-24 victory over Notre Dame.
Robinson makes sure Michigan gets past Irish

It's also worth noting that Notre Dame's second TD was actually a fumble on the three yard line that dribbled out of the end zone, but the officials were either embarrassed for the kid and let it go or were distracted by something clear through the next snap, never calling for a review of an OBVIOUSLY errant call.
Have to be honest, behind Robinson's tremendous performance and that of Montana's miserable performance, I look at 28-24 win as a loss that luck covered up. I'll take it but just barely.
I think you so right about "luck" and how the ball bounces....I just can't feel like this is a team playing together, the one man show boat can sink real fast...of course that would be just fine with me...being from O H I O. I really loved the history of the two school, when it was football....at it's best. Winning by a team is what it should be about. Good "luck" the rest of the season...your "team" may need it.
Well I have never been in favor of a "one person show/team" and just feel that he get his dues somtime soon. "hot dogs" are eaten, have a way of showing their true colors...which are not blue and gold in my book. Tim T got a way with it, but he was alot bigger/stronger guy, lets see how long he can hold up, with his "dog and pony show". Rich R is setting the team up for some hard times, if he gets hurt. I still don't buy into this "greatest as a coach" not honest man in my mind. Once a "cheat" always a "cheat". Enjoy it "M" fans as it could go away as fast as your "little QB".
This is just a guess, but have you only ever watched Big Ten games?
I ask this because you think that Michigan, which is playing their full starting lineup effectively, is a "one person team." It appears that you haven't seen the offensive styles around the rest of the country and that running quarterbacks befuddle you.
The reason Shoelace gets so many rushing yards is because of the spread-option offense they're running, the Wildcat formation that gives Denard the option to scan the field after the play starts and decide which guy is going to be more effective running the ball... his running back in one direction or himself in the other. He's basically now a triple threat... instead of just handing off to the RB and passing like most QB's, this allows him to basically become a second running back in a split second decision during the handoff moment.
If the QB is quick and agile (and tough) enough to pull this off, it's the best offense out there... but Big Ten teams don't run this spread option offense, they prefer a passing game with a little RB balance. They want to "protect their QB." This doesn't make Michigan a "one man team," but rather it adds one more thing to their arsenal.
Note the 244 passing yards yesterday. We have receivers, we have an RB, we have a great line. Most good teams are built around their QB, but that's not even close to the only weapon in Michigan's arsenal.
They started the season unranked because the team is in a HUGE transition to a completely different style of football and Rich has only had one solid year of recruiting (and even that year was tainted by scandal and a poor record). As he stacks this team with recruits that match his style, things will keep getting better, but the team I saw out there yesterday was well on its way to greatness already.
