Reggie Bush is a greedy little piece of trash. This is all his fault. USC had no knowledge of his actions nor could they. Don't give me crap about SC lack of institutional control. There is no way they could have known. SC and all its fans and former and current players are being punished because of the actions of Bush and his greedy family. These sanctions are crap because of that. USC should sue that scum bag Bush.
YOU obviously have a problem with Reggie Bush. He has apologized for his actions and his past associations have come back to haunt him. The only problem with Bush is . . . He got caught! . . .
Bush is a stellar athlete and deserves that trophy just as much as any other Heisman winner. New sanctions need to be made throughout the NCAA and stripping Bush of this accomplishment WILL NOT make it retroactive! He is being thrown under the bus!
Well duh, obviously I have a problem with Bush. His selfish greed hurt a lot of people. But I never said they should take his trophy away. I actually think he should keep it as well. He was that best athlete that year. But I don't recall hearing that he admitted to his misdeeds. As you say, his problem was that he got caught. He's only sorry he got caught.
This chump has no integrity nor a shred of decency.
CHEATER?
Sure... but after all, isn't that what the National FELON League is all about!
During his college days... he has learned how to "skate the RULES and get away with it."
His mind set is one that "makes excuses while neither accepting nor admitting zero responsibility!"
Place your bets early... this cheater will get BUSTED for something.
That's why they call it the National FELON League...
An endless list of BUMS, where names OJ... Burris... Stallworth... Roethelsburger... VICK and now Bush are "only the most common" but there's LOTS more where they came from... but there names are just not mentioned as often.
Nothing but a modern day "Circus Freak Show" but they've replaced the "Freaks" with FELONS.
I feel sorriest for the fans that get so SUCKERED in to buying tickets, shirts and all the other high priced junk... like little children in elementary school. So sad.
The most pitiful of all are the ones that plaster "team logos" all over their vehicles and the most classic of all are the ones who actually pay money to have the team on their license plate, while the NFL and the team owners laugh all the way to the bank.
Then, many of these fools actually attempt to defend guys like Bush or Burress and even Vick. If O.J. was known as "the juice" then Vick should be called "the Juicer".
So pitiful that people will spend all that money and take their children to a game and "still clap and cheer when that "disgraceful, cheating slug" walks on the field.
A sad statement about our culture. Yet, scholastic achievement, intelligence, character, decency just are not as important? These slugs spend 4 or 5 year on a university campus; supposedly have a degree and are unable enunciate a simple and complete sentence in ENGLISH?
Pathetic... but hey... they're in the National FELON League!
YEA!!!! Your so smart and everyone else is dumb. Isn't that funny that they can't even complete a sentence in ENGLISH but they still are probably more successful than you and I playing a game.... It is some of the best entertainment in the world and the money comes from the fans that love to be entertained. If it is the National FELON League then what do we call the Catholic Church.. I'm sure you can come up with something. whaaaa!!!
Brandon, it's too bad that there are people out there like you who think the real measure of success is INCOME...I'm not disagreeing with your statement on the Catholic Church, but none of us are perfect, are we?? I'm certain you are not without a sin or two along the way ARE YOU??
I actually don't measure success just on INCOME, (although very helpful in life) but playing a super fun game with natural talent and a good work ethic for millions of dollars sounds pretty good to me. I am not into organized religion, so I'm not sure what kind of sins your going with, but I could forgive Reggie for cheating before I could forgive a Priest (One of the most trusted in a community) for molesting little kids.... and not to mention the brainwashing they give them. I am not perfect, but as close as you can get. JK You must have sucked at sports or something because you seem very jealous.
The felons are the universities. These guys are exploited to the hilt. Both sides are dishonest. For me the universities are the most dishonest because they play the intellectual game - BS - they are out for the cash and could care less about the athlete.
wat did the ni66a do?
Its these univerities that are felons and crooks! U know how much money and endorsements these universites make off these players? Its insane. Yeah they pay for their "schlorships" but seriously, compared to the millions of dollars they are making, these schlorships are pennies! These schools purposely recruit these young mostly poor men to break their bodies to pay for these amazing buildings and arenas. And they don't make a dime in school, nothing. The NCAA set up these rules so they can control these grown men lives by having the agents try to buy them out and lure them with gifts that would help their family, stuff u can't get at 20 and then tell them "No" because ur school owns you and they are the only people who can take money for u! Its crazy! Its a shame. And when the schools finally get caught, we blame the students! I have been a college football fan for years and as much as I love the game, its disgusting how they treat these kids. And finally USC has gotten caught and its about time. Trst me, there were more kids taking money and similar situactions long b4 Reggie Bush and the same practice will still go on long after him.
I couldn't agree more, and Reggie will do just fine. Also, he is very fun to watch.
For those of you who have and who will post your comments trying to label Bush as a "felon"..."criminal"..."greedy"...etc.... you're all idiots! Bush won the Heisman based on his actions and play on the field. To strip it from him based on his actions off the field is rediculous!! Bush is greedy?...a criminal?...a felon? News flash...Every player on scholarship has accepted something at some point. Bush got cought. That makes him a "felon"? Give me a break! and to call him greedy? Isn't that what the NFL (not to mention the NBA, MLB, NHL, etc.) is all about?....kids growing up wanting to get rich doing what they love? Here's free advice....try removing your invalid emotions from the equation next time you feel the urge to make a lame ass ignorant comment or post. You just may get a bit of credibility for your moronic opinion!
well put!!!
Ya'll all have valid points -love to read them! And I do love my football - and yes I pay for the games, shirts, etc. Really think if you play hard you should reap something...but can't stand Vick - he went over the line - throw him to the dogs :)
