Looking at the photograph that accompanied this article, I was a little amazed to see that Beatrice is not looking at the ball or even her racquet!
When I learned to play tennis, it was "never" take your eye off the ball. Also, her grip looks weak, and the racquet itself is not in the proper position for a forehand shot. Maybe it's just the angle at which the photo was taken?
In this case, however, everything worked in Beatrice's favour. Congratulations, Beatrice, here's hoping you make it through to the next round!
