Pathetic. The man just can't retire with any kind of self respect. He has to make an incredible fool of himself and erase any credibility he has AT ALL by deciding to QB badly at 40 years old. That's like a 100 years in dog years. Go home, already. Once and for all.

The only thing that is pathetic is a comment like yours. Favre can roll out of bed on any given day and be better than 90% of the QBs out there. Look at what he did last year and the year before he played for the Jets. (he was injured while playing for the Jets). He has never made a fool of himself, stat wise. Not many stack up to that Skippy. Wake up!
Oh please. They pulled him after 4 plays because the 49er defense would have kicked the stuffing out of this old man.
The only view he would have had was from the backfield, on his butt.
Good to know he's still leading on career interceptions (317). So happy to see him get slammed to the turf on that last play. Hopefully it will happen to him often this season....

favre = 100% ego = 0% common sense. The only thing that favre cares about is keeping his face in front of a camera. To hell with everyone else.
