The poor man is currently lost. His game is on vacation. So until he has found himself and put his game back together he should not be the weakest link on the USA's team.
Personally I hope he can come back from this low and rediscover both who he is as well as his game. Tiger you need to dump acquaintances like Michael Jordan and come back to the quality human you once were!!!

If a player's confidence and concentration is off just a little, his/her game will immediately go into the dumps big-time. Tiger's problem is not that he has lost his swing - he has lost his concentration.

Tiger is much like the Wizard of Oz. When the curtain is intact there is awe and power beyond comprehension. When the curtain in pulled there is weakness and frailty - the myth is broken and the truth exposed. The women and the affairs were a part of who made tiger larger than life and is part of what made him "Tiger." Remove the facade and what you have left is a pitiful shadow of his former self.

He might just snap out of it No one knows what's going to happen and who will win. Its like the Superbowl. We all thought the Vikings would win and it didn't happen all because of one mistake. Obviously neither of you care about those who deserve to be there, who have earned the right to play on merit, not history. Nor do you seem to care if the US wins. You don't put someone on the Ryder Cup team because he used to be good, or because you want TV ratings. Players earn their way onto the team.

I agree. To many times people judge what they do not know or truly understand. Everyone of us has made a mistake in our life, some of you make the mistake of being ignorant with comments that only cause harm. If you were in the spot light and had 1/4 of his income you would do some not well thought out things also. His childhood was golf, his teenage years to adult has been golf. He had not lived yet, so he tried it and failed on his marriage. Not the first and want be the last. Tiger will return as a stronger golfer. I believe that we can all overcome when we can focus. So if your not encouraging, please save your ignorant rants for your on personal growth.
It's what you've done for me lately, and let's face it Tiger has done poorly since his return. Put someone else in his spot that's worthy for how they are playing now.

He'll get his head on straight and when he does, he'll be very, very good again. Right now, he needs to get away from golf and take care of his children etc. Once he does the "right thing", will he be able to concentrate on his game. I abhor what he's done but I long to watch him play WELL.
I am not a Tiger Woods fan however, yes, he should play on the U.S Ryder Cup. Team. Win or lose he is a golfer and who knows if he would win or lose.
