"SYPHER" is a good name for this huzzy (my spelling)!  I'm not sure why Mr. Sypher chose to marry some one who has slept around so much!  Maybe she's good in bed, but she's not very smart.

The charge of "Rape" is regularly used as a bargaining chip by evil women to gain what they want. Tragically, these false charges brought by unscrupulous & greedy women , destroy the credence of genuine rape victims .. because of the alarming numbers they occur in.

What innocent man, wants to be accused or stand trial for such a hideous crime? Most will just plead to a lesser crime or pay .. and go slinking off in the night.

It takes a lot of courage to do what Rick Pitino did and fight back ...

Well, congratulations "ARE" in order. Too many are self righteous and never think this could happen to them. If a woman approached me in a closed restaurant, I hope I would have the presence of mind to say, No. But I am not that high minded to think it couldnt happen. Like someone said. Rape is a horrible crime and, all of the empathy we feel when this happens should be reserved for those who truly go thru that horrific crime. Not for extortion, crime ridden people like that. I think the reason this Sypher dude married her is becuase he thought he was going to be able to Freeload right along with her. Yes, congratulations to Rick Pitiono for this victory, for a lot of guys who have dealt with the same thing. and for those of you who think otherwise. You need to remember " But for the grace of God, go I"

I take an entirely different 'read' on this case, namely a low-life female getting what she deserves. Did Pitino (probably) err in agreeing to a quick BJ? Was he naive in thinking that, with his visibility, he was not a perfect 'target' for a shakedown? And, did Sypher think that Pitino, given his position, would fold up and try to buy her off? Too often, men are put in a position of 'guilty as charged' whenever there is a claim from a female for sex-related 'crimes'. Fortunately, Pitino had the fortitude (and the financial resources) to defend himself against spurious charges. The sad fact is that most of the time men (in he-said, she-said circumstances) are put into a position of having to prove a negative, that is, that something DIDN'T happen. I hope that the publicity surrounding this case will serve to diminish the attitude, prevalent in society at large, that women are always the innocent victims in all these cases.

Unfortunately for Jacob Wise, his mother took a gamble on dragging another person's life through the mud and she lost. The court didn't take your mother away from you, Jacob, she did it all by herself. Clearly, she wasn't thinking about you when she hatched her little "plan". I feel sorry for you.

this case sounded pretty clear cut to me as a slut trying to extort money, til I got to the part where her husband was Pitinos long time aide, and then read that Pitino gave the husband money for her abortion...suddenly it doesnt seem that clear cut and I would bet theres more to it that was covered up. Was this guy pimping his wife to his boss? Was it a rape and the husband valued his job more than the wife? Guess i have to trust the jury but it sure sounds fishy to me.

Let this be a lesson to many of the gold diggers out there. I am sick of how SOME women accuse men of rape when the women doesn't get what she wants.

I live in Louisville, and have had to endure news coverage of this distasteful thing for some time. Glad its over. I think the jury made the right decision. Was not sure if she was guilty or not, until I saw her 'kiss her crusifix' for the cameras one day on her way into the courthouse. Made me want to puke. It told me loads about her character, that and the fact she used abortion as a form of birth control.
