Dodgers made some good moves. Too bad it wasn't 2 weeks ago. We need new ownership to compete with the Yankees.

The Legendary 27 time, World Series Champion New York Yankees were easily the winners of this years mid-season trade deadline. They got all the missing needed pieces, and then some. Now, Mr Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, better start sprucing up the Canyon of Heroes for what is sure to be the inevitable, the Yankees 28 time, World Series Champions, victory parade down those Canyon of Heroes to the city hall of the Greatest City in the World, so that the Core Four and the rest of this years championship team can receive yet again, another set of the Keys to the Greatest city in the World, and then it's off to da bronx, to Christen, yet again for the second time out of the two years this new Shrine has been open, as in "The House that Derek Jeter Built". It's only fitting, that the Legendary New York Yankees win their 28th World Series Championship to honor the memory of the soon to be, Hall of Fame inductee, the Greatest Owner in MLB history, The late Mr George Steinbrenner and his many years of helping shape, what MLB is today! We thank you Mr Steinbrenner, your NY Yankees, and the Greatest Fans in all of Professional sports, the Yankees Universe want to say thank you, for all you've done, with this years 28 time World Series Championship. MLB and it's fans worldwide will miss you, but, we'll always be think ing of you!!!

Why don't the Yankees simply buy all of the other teams? They might as well. They're basically doing it anyway.

When you consider that the Rangers are bankrupt ~ literally ~ and they snare the likes of Lee, Molina, Cantu, and Guzman, I'd have to say they are the overall winners. The Yankees did well but they have money. The superstar in all of this is Jon Daniels, the Ranger's GM. He made it happen and deserves enormous credit. When you've got the best farm system in baseball, you don't always need money.

Berkman might need glasses or a new prescription if he has contacts. The past couple of years he has really declined, and he really drops his hands when he swings. When he misses it is almost alway underneath the ball. I think he needs to gear up at the plate like teixera. Teixera is to punch, as Berkman is to slap. Man up and hit Berkman!!

To all you yankee fans: Self loathing doesn't make the yankees any more than what they are. A bought team that is built from the outside of their organization. Not built from hard work but built by having the most money to flash around. That is their perogative and one way to do it but not an admirable way in my opinion. To say that steinbrenner is the greatest owner in mlb history is a crock of shyt. everyone seems to forget how bafoonish he was at times.

Every team should have exactly the same amount of money to spend. Then it's fair. Otherwise if the highest paid team wins the World Series, who cares....unless you live in NY.
