Virginia Tech consistently brings the surprises. They're underrated at every turn. The first game against Boise will dictate, but if they lose, get ready for a fire-back style that you won't want to play against. Either way, they will be pumped for the title.
Boise State won't know what hit them. VT will be playing like a well oiled machine. Boise State is very overrated. You'll see come Sept. and these NBC guys need to check with the coaches poll before they rank VT 12. Oh and yes Beamer is always very modest. He can stand on his record, and the players love him.
After years of close calls, I think Miami will be the 'shocker' for the ACC world this year. Maturity, a coach who cares about his players BOTH in the classroom and on the field, a quarterback who's consistently shown improvement, holes filled on offense, and a defense that's coming together........I don't know about the BCS championship, but I think Miami will be a fight for anyone who plays them!!!
Miami is back on the up & up. After several years of being down due to the early migration of so much talent to the NFL, the Canes are poised for a strong season with possible BCS implications. I just hope that they become more explosive in the passing game and minimize their predictable gameplans of the past. They have a chance to bring the noise and payback OSU for the theft of the NC from 02. In your eye Tressel Gayvest!!!!!!
