Contrador is truly the best cyclist in the world. Why did he have to taint is clear win by ignoring Shleck's "mechanical" problem ahead of him (I would certainly notice that happening in front of me) and chose to exploit it. It put an unnecessary cloud over Contrador's win and he would have won without this ethically challenged action. Now he has to live with that decision. Lets see if history repeats itself next year. A sorry character issue to have occurred at the peak of his career. Hopefully Contador can get his ethics together and demonstrate unequivocably his superior riding skills.
Good grief. Today's stars - Contador and Cavendish. Yuch, a double whammy. There has to be someone else out there to win the Tour, someone we can be happy about, no matter where they are from. But not these two.
Answer to my own post - Andy Schleck.
