Spain erupted with its biggest fiesta in memory Monday when its football team returned to a jubilant nation after winning the World Cup, giving elated Spaniards a break from months of economic gloom and political squabbling.

Congrats to Spain, but it saddens me that as an American citizen, had we won the World Cup, there would have been rioting, looting, and cities burning. What the hell is wrong with some of our people. Any excuse for stupidity. That is how some celebrate.
