I agree 1000%. I don't know much about these three players history together but it doesn't quite smell right. Queen Latifah would've brought more game against the Celtics than King James. Did the three of them already have this pact to go to Miami together. If so the WWF is looking more legit than the NBA.
Cuban is a sniveling ass. He engages in the very same sort of shady conduct that he's now going out of his way to complain about. He's just pissed that his Mavericks didn't concoct something similar. This man has been fined 1.6 million by the league for 13 separate incidents and he's passing judgment? Laughable.
Poor guy. He'll do anything for attention. If he can't get it by winning, he has no problem getting it by whining.
I totally agree with you!! I don't think there will be too many owners happy about the Heat because they know THEY CAN'T BEAT US BABY!!! And they would have done the same thing, "We just thought of it FIRST & that's not saying that there is something going on" They just hope that it is so they can try to break us up..... Well, Earl, did you bother to watch the Boston series??? How many turnovers did James have? Game 6 I believe he had NINE. He was also holding the ball, dribbling it during parts of the game and I noticed him just staring into the crowd on several other occasions. He only actually played ONE game that was up to par. The others were WAY before his capabilities. Intentional??? Hmmm, and Bosh gets hit with an elbow and is out in crucial games while Toronto was battling for a playoff spot??? These 3 AmEgoes NEED to be investigated. Like another writer posted on this thread, this is like the WWF.

The credibility of this league has gone down the toilet. The Cavs didn't need better support players to keep LJ. They needed a better nightlife in Cleveland to compete with South Beach. Upgrade those strip clubs if you want to attract free agents. If LJ is the best, the other players should have been coming to him, not the other way around. He took their millions straight out of high school without any intent of staying there. Sure the burden of winning was on his shoulders. It comes with the territory. Cuban is only saying what other owners are thinking: We have lost control over our franchises. For those who say why would the Cavs want him back if he tanked, it's simple. His leaving probably dropped the value of the franchise by several hundred million. Few stars have ever left during their prime. Jabbar and Shaq both went to LA for the glamour and commercial opportunities. Guess not much as changed since South Beach is the eastern version of Hollywood.

If Miami is investigated, it’s still unclear what could possibly be found. Perhaps a revelation that LeBron James did intentionally give 80% instead of 100% during a few games because he was sick of Cleveland? If this is true, it does nothing but tarnish James’ reputation.
Cuban isn’t stupid by any stretch. He has to know this. And if that’s all Cuban is after, it’s fairly obvious that this is a personal beef he has with Miami. Losing the NBA Finals in 6 games to the Heat has him seeing red every time they improve and all he has to hang his hat on is Dirk and a shoulda-retired-years-ago Jason Kidd.

Cuban's request makes far more sense the junk Dan Gilbert was spewing. Owners and team managers are strictly forbidden to talk to or about specific players before the day they become free agents. Why is it that Dwyane Wade can do all the talking he wants to /about Bosh and James? Also, if players can behave this way, what's to prevent Heat management from communicating all their intentions through D. Wade?

Mark Cuban..........not sure any one person in this world needs to say more than that. Everyone of us knows what he does to tarnish the league every night. He knows that if D-Wade can take over a series and kick the crap out of his team, how is he going to handle 3 top stars? He also knows that these 3 players didn't go to Dallas because they would have to listen to his stupidity daily. The Heat did awesome in free agency, clearing space, spending money, and still remain under the cap. They are in negotiations with Iverson..........imagine if they pick him up and have one of the fastest old man guards to join the new big 3. All these people are going to be crying more and more wondering just how Mr. Riley got everything done. Not saying that AI is what he used to be, but he is still one of the fastest players and still has game. He will probably cry about not being the man, but put yourself in his shoes..........this is the best chance at any rings and championships. Wade, Bosh, and LeBron all talk the same as we all talk to our friends everyday. If you are considering leaving a job I'm willing to bet you talked to some of your friends and said "hey I'm going to Jim Bobs shop, you should come with me!" It works the same way down the pole making $8.00 an hour as it does making the millions. there is nothing illegal immoral or even wron with players deciding they want to play on the same team. there is nothing in the rule book against it. Pat saw an oppertunity and like the basketball god he is made it come to fruition. I know the rest of the team that were in the running for "the quitter" have sour grapes now but man to turn coat just beacause he didnt come to your city. and as far as cleveland is concern maybe if you guys had not booed him on his home court in game 6 it would still be his home court. so i guess its ok for fans to turn their back on a player but god forbid a player leaves the fans that love him. Lebron, Bosh, and Wade going to Miami had nothing to do with the nightlife, or whatever that clown was suggestion. It was because they were the only one of the three teams that had the potential cap room (basically meaning nobody else on the roster except for them) to pay them all max contracts. They even had to do a sign and trade to get the deal done. As for why the three wanted to play together, they have all been playing together on Team USA for several years together, and they're all close friends. They may even be able to recruit another star or two for a minimum contract.
Personally, I hope David Stern slaps the snot of the face of all the whinny little cry babies and demands them to explain what exactly is their plan to sell tickets?
It seems to me that at the present time, only the Lakers, the Celtics, Chicago, the Magic and now the Heat are the only organizations doing their job.

That said, superteams never work, and the Heat will be no exception. There are too many egos and not enough basketballs for that crap.
Hey not to be rude but are you honestly that stupid? Let me give you 2 simple reasons you should NOT have said that.
1. Lebron, Bosh and Wade are all from the same 2008 Beijing Olympic Gold Medalist team. They worked so well together so we have documented proof. But furthermore, Lebron James and Dwyane Wade are HUGE team players, getting great APG numbers, IMAGINE how many assists they can get when they have each other to look out for, the defense is either gonna double team one of them or play iso, either way it will result in a @!$%#load of offense, on top of that you have bosh on the low-block and he is a scoring machine with a 20-10 average (20+points 10+rebounds probably the top 2 or 3 big men in the league and still very young). I don't think you really know what your talking about to be honest, but let me show you a much worse team that won the championship and made it to the finals last year AT MUCH OLDER beyond their primes ages, and without as much talent.
B. THE CELTICS (beat the current contender which is the lakers and that was in 2008 when the lakers were closer to their prime, now they're over the hill).
C. Dwyane Wade and Lebron BOTH have carried a team to the finals on their backs, I really don't think you put much thought into your comment.

Instead, Mark Cuban says things that basically sounds like a little kid that dropped his ice cream in the sandbox and is looking for someone to blame.
The Heat management needed to be involved for this to have been tampering. The NBA rule states that no employee of any team can communicate with any free agent of another team until July first. Which does include Wade by the way. So the grey area is can Wade contact Bosh and James as a friend without acting as an employee of the Heat? and is that even a fair expectation? I think the answer to both of those questions is NO but you cant prove any collusion.
IMHO there are two rasons this is good for the leage. 1. you need a villian to root against (i.e. Yankees, Cowboys, Duke BBall, ...) 2. NBA chatter in July has never been like this.
Your correct and ESPN asked David Stern if the so called "Summit" was against NBA rules and Stern said "no" and he was not going to stop it.
Apparently, since players don't actually discuss money or contract details, agents do, meeting and having dinner together without your agent is not considered a team contacting a free agent outside the window.
