Unless it is cruel and unusual punishment GIRARDI should be locked in a room and forced to watch the worst managing job ever. At least twice with men on 1st and2nd even a little league coach would have advanced the runners. Then he warmed up Marte and turned around and had Vasquez pitch to 3 lefthanded batters. He lost that game Chamberlain should not have been in there in that situation. The yanks should win but not because of the manager but in spite of him.
when will girardi bench chamberlain or better yet send him to the minors? he is the most inept reliever in the bullpen and to keep hauling him out is absolutely ridiculous. he is an overweight jerk. throwing a 96 mph fast ball doesn't mean a thing if you can't control it. why didn't girardi pull his ass????
The Yanks had a jem in Joba but Cashman ruined him with his Joba rules, starting/relieving, # of innings, pitching 4-5 innings only each game. Joba is a testament to Cashmans ineptness. Terrible trade for Granderson. Traded Austin Jackson who is a rookie of the year candidate and the lefty Phil Coke who was 5-0 with an era under 3 last I looked for a .235 hitter who strikes out every 4th at bat. Yanks win because of the Steinbrenner money. Cashman couldn't be a GM for any other team. but "char in miami" is right. They need to send Joba down and get his head back on straight.
