The "Super Team" is great news for the rest of the Eastern Conference. There is a limit on the number of times you can play (and lose to) one team. Losing LeBron weakens Cleveland, losing Bosh weakens Toronto, and now they will fight for the same ball with Wade on Miami. Think if each had gone to (or in the case of Wade, stayed with) Chicago, New Jersey and Miami. The Bulls would have gone to contender status, the Nets would have climbed off the mat, and the Heat would still have been good. Now, Chicago is still a .500 team, the Nets still are bad, and the Heat have to contend with lots of guys who need the ball.
Sorry but I only have admiration for the skill of this amazing player. We were lucky enough to get tickets to his very first game in Sacramento against the Kings. The only seats available were the nosebleed seats up in the clouds. We saw him bigger than life doing the most amazing plays I have ever seen. He stood above everyone. His skill was something to see. Sorry but I think if there is an ego at play I am willing to feed it and give LeBron the full credit he deserves as an outstanding player. We do not see that kind of athlete very often and when we do there is no reason not to recognise a job well done.

With all the issues we face right now; who gives a 's..t' about this guy! We're so concerned about the athletes, hollywood personalities, junk TV shows, ect. When 25% of American's don't even know the country we fought in the revolution to gain our independence, it should give us all concern about our country and it's future. So what happens to some BB player should not be of concern.

A Clevelander here. Won't be watching the show. Can't wait for the announcement to be over so I don't have to hear any more about some overhyped, undereducated, overpaid d-bag. Cleveland is listed as one of the top ten cities hit hardest by the current economic woes. Why are we wasting time on this shmuck?! He has done nothing for this town! Any money he deigns to donate goes to one neighborhood in Akron. The rest of the money goes to Dan Gilbert... in Michigan.

No more, "Why can't they call act like LeBron?" And comparing LeBron to Kobe, he's got a ways to go. Not even in the conversation until he wins a title. If he goes to Miami, no sure thing there. Think about how it worked when the Lakers tried to get Shaq, Kobe, Malone, and Payton together.

3 pretty big markets (Chicago, New York and Miami) so those fans will be watching. Cleveland - not so much.... If what Lebron has shown to be his true colors - he likes the attention, which builds the "brand" - he is not returning to Ohio (except to beat the crap outta the Cavaliers with his new team). I am happy that Lebron has stayed outta trouble, that he seems to be a decent person. I am happy he has the talent, works at his game and has the desire to win/be the best. And I hope he makes a decsion that works for him and his family. I suspect if he leaves Cleveland - it may be more difficult to avoid the problems a lot of players have succumbed to. A difficult choice - we certainly don't need an hour long show to get this done. I may watch the last 5 minutes - just for fun.
