After another warm welcome from the Irish public, Tiger Woods turned curt and dismissive at a news conference Tuesday when asked about his state of mind since the sex scandal that's wrecked his marriage.
Woods turns icy at personal questions in Ireland

I watched a video clip of this interview. It was about 15 minutes long, and SkySports uploaded it. I found it much more civil than some of these articles would lead you to believe. Most of the media members asked good golf questions to which Tiger gave good responses. His terse replies or absolute silence were solicited by a few questions that were really set-ups for taunts. I'm guessing that these "reporters" are being paid by the bloids to ask such questions since bloids can't get credentials. I'm guessing also that one of the bloids is behind the banners that are being flown above the heads of tens of thousands of patrons by single-engine planes just to taunt Tiger, thereby generating a story. After all, they are the ones who have feasted on this scandal the most. It's in their best interest to keep it going any way they can. The snarky kiddies who run these concerns don't care whom they endanger in the process.
Ah but it wasn't just personal questions he was being needlessly rude about. One of the Expose reporters simply asked how did he view the competition and how did he view the resounding welcome he received in Ireland and he was ridiculously rude to her for no apparent reason. The man needs to cop on.
He didn't seem ridiculously rude to anyone in the clip I viewed, not even to the reporters that were tauting him. There may be a back story that would make the reason apparent.
