If this did happen (I believe it won't because their greety) the Heat would have 3 of the best players at their position. As i said before it wont happen because of greed. That being said if it were to happen they would dominate the East. Probably go 11-0 in the playoffs or maybe lose one game to Orlando in the Eastern conference finals. They would then face the Lakers most likely and that might be a good series but because of pure talent the Heat would win. Lakers have a soft player in Gasol and almost lost to an old Boston team. Doubt they could hang with Lebron, Wade, Bosh and a bunch of nobodies. Dosn't matter who else is on that team. They would dominate for years.....
I don't think they would dominate for as many years as a Rose, Bosh, Noah, James Bulls superteam. Rose is younger and faster than Wade, and will be for years. If the Bulls somehow work it out to keep Deng and Taj, They would be even more dominant.
While it sounds good, it is an unlikely scenario for success, even if they do sign. While Bosch would be Ok with either, let's face it, LaBron and Wade are both alpha dogs and there is only one basketball. Who gets the ball when the game is on the line? My bet is on Wade because he's a genuine "closer." LaBron is a "playmaker" who thinks he's a "closer." Unless and until you establish the "A" alpha and "B" alpha, it will never work.
Plus there is one thing that no one has mentioned yet. Wade already owns Miami. Will LaBron play second fiddle in any market with his ego? I don't see it for the same reason he'll never play with Kobe on an NBA team. He has to be the man, and in Wade's town Miami, he's already down one ring and playing WITh Wade he can never catch up to him, let alone the Black Mamba.
They'd win as many titles as Kobe, Shaq, Malone & Payton won together as Lakers.
Kobe purposely lost in that finals to prove a point whereas LeBron can't prove anything. It was so painful to watch LeBron stand around at the perimeter passing the ball off against the Celtics. If he plays with Wade and Bosh, we might finally see if he deserves the title of "The King."
Okay... I'm not a big Kobe fan, but the idea that he purposely lost in 2004 to somehow prove a point is ludicrous. What point, exactly, does he prove by jacking up twice as many shots as Shaq did at two thirds the percentage?
My thought exactly!
And Kobe throwing a game/series to prove a point is so retarded, that your IQ dropped several more points just for opening your mouth!
None with all the egos and one main reason. The best player in the world isn't on that team because he is on the Lakers . HINT it starts with a K and ends in a OBE
Who frick'n cares!!! NBA teams, and olympic teams, have put together highly talented teams before and they've flopped. To much ego for anyone to control.
the big reason for it not to happen, is james will always be known as the guy who needed a allstar team around him to win a title. he couldnt do it without an all star cast around him..
do you think the biggest ego in the nba will like that idea??? not way. not for a billion dollars a year contract
None by the time they assemble role players around this team, all this players will in their 30s and at the end of their contracts probably pouting also for lack of touches. Keep in mind people that they only have 2 players under contract right now, no other star will sign with this team for lack of touches plus they players they will sign would be either has beens or has no talent. if they are smart, they should sign with Chicago wherein they could probably win in a year or 2.
These 3 players are willing to take a pay cut jus to play together, and that is not greed.
Being a Celtics fan (underestimated), i just want to see honest, hard playin' competition. The lakers would have lost, but perkins got hurt. The celtics have the best defense in the nba hands down. I would like to see Wade, James, and Bosh make miami a force to be reckoned with. They are all makin' a good living, they all want to win, and that will set the stage for a good season...can't wait!
Kate is probably the dumbest man with a comment here.Celtics lost because they are old, and didn't deserve to win. SO what if they won at home. They're supposed to. As usual, the Lakers got off their game, but did what they needed to win. Perkins hurt!!! So What. AB and Kobe were practically playing hurt all season. WA WA WA
Three stars. One ball. Three XXXL egos. Zero championships.
if they can suck it up like KG, Allen, Pierce and play like a team (share the ball and play defense) then maybe they will at least win one. they all didnt have any option because they were getting too old. Now LeBrick and Bosh are still in there prime and this could mean that they will not follow the same mentality as the Celtics did. Somebody will want to be the Alpha.
i can picture LeBrick being the supporting character since he cant carry a team all the way to the championship level.
Go Lakers.
Bynum was hurt too and wasnt much a factor, the Lakers didnt use Bynums absence in 2008, Celtics fan be a bit more classy. If you guys won this without Perkins, y'all will be rubbing down the Lakers faces.

Even if Miami can afford these three ballhogs they'll never beat the Lakers for the title. No center no rebounds and no rebounds no rings!
