A rebounding edge only matters if it leads to more baskets, not more shots. The lakers had many more shots, but fewer filed goals and fewer 3 pt. buckets. The advantage that gave them the game was a 37-17 free throw advantage. This wouldn't have been as close if they hadn't sucked at the line. But when you get 20 ore attempts, you can squeak out a 4 pt. win.

If they had hit shots late in the game and not gone 5 minutes without scoring in the 4th qrtr they win. Blaming the refs sounds whinny and childish.
