The joy is back in LA-LA Land. Even Jack has a new bounce in his step! The lakers bench players FINALLY showed up and destroyed the Celtics' bench. This was one of the finest team efforts of the season for the Lakers. Had the Lakers lost, with the grit and determination that permeated the team tonight, from a fan's perspective we could have still held our heads high. If our beloved Lakers have the heart and fire that we think they have, Game 7 will bring about another NBA championship for them. GO LAKERS!

Bynam is important since the combination of him and Gasol enable the Lakers to control the paint. Lakers need to stop Rondo from penetrating for layups and easy dishes near the basket. Both teams will play fanatical defense. I suspect the refs will let them play more in game seven. Mental and physical toughness will prevail. That usually determines who gets the most rebounds and steals. Final factor...Kobe! Love him or hate him, Kobe is an amazing leader for his team.

I don't really like Kobe's attitude, but I think he is a gifted basketball player... and I respect Phil Jackson's coaching style and his ability to deal with Kobe's attitude.
I think the Lakers will win, and I have been a Laker fan since the days of Jerry West, although I have enjoyed watching various Celtic teams over the years.
Lakers are due for a moment of greatness. If they play the same way as last night, the Celtics don't have a prayer. It's time for the entire Laker team to step up and time for Kobe to take command of his team. I think Derrick Fisher is going to have a big game, Gasol will win the rebound battle and Big Baby will be a non factor. Sorry Perkins is out but that will not be the difference. The difference will be a smothering defense by the Lakers. Nuff said

The Lakers had the refs on their team. The difference in the free throw stats is unbelievable. I hate the NBA because they cheat good teams out of their wins. The refs are horrible!
To Patrick Gray, thanks for the ancient history lesson. Russell, Bird, and Mchale aren't there anymore. What you've got are some great overachievers with an excellent coach. Kudos to the Celtics for getting this far - they've gotten more out of those old tired bodies than I ever thought they would. Kudos to Doc Rivers, he is an awesome coach. But this is game 7 - You saw last night what the Lakers do when they have to. Sometimes they get lazy, but when the championship gets on the line, they know how put the petal to the metal. I don't think it will be that close.
