lets face it Posada can hit and catch, he also is old and his manueverability is now a detriment. I have watched him and ADMIRED him for a long time. The past 2 yrs his target for pitchers has gotten to a point ,no matter what pitch is, his target is also one that he can reasonably catch or stop the ball. He has been less than good at tough pitches in the dirt or high and outside. not loss of skill but Age deteriation. Cervelli is better than good and knows pressure. He can't DH but he can catch and throw better than the aged one.
