Nebraska to the Big Ten, Colorado to the Pac-10, Boise State to the Mountain West, and on and on ... College sports, namely football and basketball, soon won't look the same as they do now as expansion is now the name of the game. After making your vote on the moves, back it up in the discussion below.
What's your take on all the college conference changes?

If NCAA football is going to do any changes, they need to abolish the BCS and install a play-off system like other normal sports have. These bowl games are outdated. Sure there is alot of money involved, but the play-off games could be played in the same city, with parades and all that crap. Allowing one team to win the national championship because they are members of a select conference is wrong. Why not do it fair for a change? Let the best football team in the country win the title.
Both Texas and Texas A&M should go to the SEC and Oklahoma and Ok State to Pac 10. Kansas and K-State to Mt.West. Notre Dame is becoming a boring operation and soon will be a mid-western NYU.
Good on the Pac 10 for getting off the dime and agressively pursuing expansion. If the plan sticks, the TV deal alone will rival anything college football has seen yet.
And it all will be happening west of the Mississippi. Sorry SEC.
Hello Big !2 Fans, If we all just relax and enjoy this it can be the change we've all been looking for. The next step should be the disolution of the NCAA and the BCS. And after the conferences realign into 4 16 team superconferences we can get about the business of a national playoff to determine who can run the guantlet to become the true, rather than the "mythical", national champion. That is long overdue in the most passionately loved sport in this country. Welcome to the Pac/SW 10 (16). Together we will become the undisputed best and most feared college atheletic organization in the USA.

Now that Colorado and Nebraska are gone, the Big 12 should pick up TCU! Their football team is ranked 6th in the nation and the mens baseball team is in the College World Series... they are serious competitors. Go Frogs!

I believe Nebraska is just the power shot team the Big Ten needed . WIth mighty Michigan all of a sudden a lap dog to Ohio State .Nebraska is just what the Dr. ordered to give Ohio State A challanging game. Maybe in 5 or 10 years Michigan will be competive again. The BIg Ten now has 12 teams and can have a Big ten champion game in December of 2011 . NEbraska vs Ohio State anyone?
