The U.S. will face Nigeria in the finals and Nigeria will kick their ass....again.
I'd rather watch the NFL, NHL, NCAA FB than a boreing low scoreing soccer game
So why'd you even respond to the thread? Maybe you should watch the National Spelling Bee.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Nascar since you spelled boring and scoring incorrectly. Perhaps, futbol is a bit too intelligent for you.....Drive left!
There is nothing more "boreing" than a one sided stomp that's all but over by the third quarter like most NCAA games and most Super Bowls for that matter. In soccer at least the score is usually close enough to be in doubt until the end or close to it. The NHL is too full of fights for its own good and even then you see games that are put away too early. It's the closeness of the contest that counts - not the "scoreing". Think racing.
If you think the game is "boreing" - try the dictionary and see if it's boring when you learn how to spell boring. And Alawyer I agree with you, but learn how to spell "scoring". I guess both you guys were bored in English class also.
Alawyer - I actually don't agree with you totally. Most NCAA March Madness games are so exciting, I might need to stock up on valium before next March. Check out the number of games that were won in overtime.
The US isn't in the consensus top eight, but all of those eight have weaknesses. It's a sure bet they won't all make it to the quarterfinals. The US has a good chance to get that far if they play well and avoid bookings and injury. If they get that far, they could get to the semifinals, depending on their opponent. Spain over England in the final. Even odds that Maradona gets arrested for something and Argentina implodes.
