Tiger Woods, dressed in a royal blue shirt, hopped over a short fence and onto the range at Muirfield Village. Jack Nicklaus, in gray blazer and tie, hosted a ceremony on the other end of the range.
Nicklaus still expects Tiger to break his record

I'll start the comments. Jack Nicklaus, despite his sterling record in majors and otherwise, is an over the hill and largely irrelevant anachronism and has been. He just can't stand being out of the spotlight. So Jack, open the club face, and hit and fade away. After all, who gives a rat's ass what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!
of course it going to happen eventually, its not big news
big deal so a loser of family because he cant keep his other head in his pant will beat the record, BIIIIIG DEALLL!!
Its going to happen regardless, to the most undeserving human being on the planet.
Jack is the only sensible and realistic professional golfer out there right now. He knows what Tiger is capable to doing and its just a matter of time before Tiger will be on the prowl. Jack isn't making a negative comments about Tiger because they are not warranted. Like his counterpart, Johnny Miller, who on a broadcast said that Tiger was bad for golf, or Nick Faldo who won't make a comment either way. Tiger is going through what any divorce man is going through, he just lost his wife and children, his life will not be the same. It takes time to make the adjustment to living without your family, but until Tiger accepts the situation for what it is, his focus will not be as sharp, and this will affect his game. But, once he wins his first major, he will be back and will dominate the PGA tour again.
Who might break Nicklaus record if they had to play with the clubs of that era? How much easier is it to play a 7 or 8 iron over a two or three iron to the greens?
