Danica Patrick's rocky week at the Brickyard ended with cheers instead of boos. The popular IndyCar driver shook off a poor qualifying run and a somewhat poor-handling car to finish fifth in Sunday's Indy 500, her second consecutive top-six finish at the 2.5-mile oval.

The only time Danica will be up front will be as a guest and they let her drive the pace car. Her skills are not good enough to be a competitor.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Danica has finished 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 8th place twice in the Indy 500. She has only finished out of the top ten 1 time in 6 starts at Indianapolis. She came in 5th in the points last year for the Indycar championship. Nuff' said...
