Opinion: For all the criticism Hank Haney has faced over six years and six major championships working with Tiger Woods, his latest move deserves nothing but praise. Haney resigned as his swing coach Monday night, and the timing could not have been better.
Haney spares himself (and Tiger) innuendo

At Tiger's level, I would think he has is own swing style and wouldn't need a "coach"! Do you really think he listens to his coaches anyway? I've always had the impression from the first time I saw him play that he's pretty arrogant!
With Butch and with Hank it was all about the golf. Now, with Tiger it is about everything but golf. Working with Butch and Hank, Tiger was a sporting God, admired, if not idolized, by a huge part of the world. The confidence inspired by a lot of this fed into his game, making him the most invincible golfer in history. Now, following the shocking personal failings, Tiger is swimming in some of the worst Karma imaginable and this is golfing kryponite. Until Tiger gets a life back in order and is able to fully focus on golf, any coach at this point is simply arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
