WVU has beaten OSU this season, and beaten Duke the last time they played them.
West Virginia, of course!
WVU beat OSU and Butler shut Evan Turner down in that game, so they shouldn't even be considered over WVU. The Dookies however should not have a case over them simply because WVU's SOS and RPI are far superior. Not to mention WVU has now beaten Georgetown twice this season, the very same team that dismantled Duke earlier this year.
OSU has the best player, but they lost to WVU. WVU has the best resume. Duke has the best tradition.
Tradition (TV ratings) wins these things every time.
RPI, SOS and winning the Big East Championship should say it all.. Anyone other than West Virginia would be a mockery of the game.
WVU has is the better team. Duke is skilled but WVU is super quick. They would beat Duke as easily as they beat Ohio State. Better numbers as well.
they beat Ohio & they beat Geotown twice who beat Dook + RPI, SOS, & Big East Champion. all of that trumps Ohio & Dook soundly.
Of course, WVU is deserving of #1! They beat Ohio, Georgetown, and so many others. Why not WUV!
