I LIKE Jake. He has had better years than this past one BUT he is a class act. He has PASSION for the game. I have noticed with Fox and Hurney, once they make a decision to cut someone, they seem to NO LONGER exist for that management team. AS a Panther fan, I really HATE that about the head office. I know lots of people are tickled that Jake isn't in the Panther uniform. (I anticipate listening to them bitch later on about, "why did they cut jake" like the wishy washy fans generally do.)The Panthers STILL HAVE TO pay Jake millions for going and taking care of his horses. I will miss him. I think, IF they had to pay him ANYWAY, take advantage and use him as a veteran back-up! He KNOWS the system....doesn't have to be taught the FOX way. Matt can be first string.....Matt is a good kid and shows loads of promise. Jake could have been an excellent mentor. I am very dissapointed by the panter head office in this.
