Which team will win Super Bowl XLIV?
The Saints beat the Vikings, 31-28, in overtime to reach their first Super Bowl, while the Colts beat the Jets for their second trip since 2007.
I think Colts will win, but I will buy some points, 4 points is too much to give up.

Tell that to all the teams they beat. If the Saints can get to Manning like the did Favor you may get a different result then you think - either way a good game for sure

you are an idiot. Let's see, the Saints killed the greatest quarterback ever and will kill the next "greatest quarterback ever". That is the defense that did that. They won their first 13 games and then when it was all decieded they let the regulars have a bit of time off and the stat padders, inhaled the last three games of stats to say no D. Watch the games before you make such a stupid remark.
Viking score just before half, there is no OT. AD didn't get the hand-off. Guess what? No Saints around. The Vikings beat themselves. Not to say the Saints didn't show up to watch it, but the Vikings outplayed them on both sides of the ball. 9 out of 10 games, the Vikings would win...the other one, the Vikings beat themselves. Saints don't have a prayer. With the way the media reports it, sounds like they want to hurt Manning...they hurt Warner, they hurt Favre. Why not just go to the hotel before the game and throw Manning out the window? If you don't want to compete, and your only goal is to injure, perhaps YOU don't believe you're the best.

Some people are always going to have sour grapes because they themselves question their own integrity.
Football has it's pros and cons. There were enough questionable calls each way.
In the end, The Vikings let it slip away, and the Saints took it from them.

The Saints played badly. Frankly, neither team played like they should be world champion teams, but the Saints were the worse of the two.
The Saints won solely on the back of bad officiating in OT. The fourth-and-one should have never happened and the pass interference should have never happened.
The refs, who had more camera angles than you saw, decided (correctly) that there was not enough evidence to overturn the 4th and 1. The pass would have been a lot closer had the receiver not been held. In that case, the refs have to gauge how close an unimpeded receiver would have come.
Besides, nyah, nyah, nyah. You lost. Get over it.
Capitosus, YOU ARE FULL OF POOP! The Saints WHIPPED the Vikings Butt FAIR AND SQUARE! The Saints OUTPLAYED the Vikings, by getting them to FUMBLE and SACKING "MY" Quarterback SEVERAL TIMES!
I'm a Vikings FAN, and it broke my heart to see them loose, but that was and UP AND UP Game, and my Team got a good SPANKING!
Now that they Spanked the Vikings, the Saints has become my Team to win the Super Bowl, and I want them to do to the Colts, twice as bad what they did to Farve and the Vikings ..... watching the Colts chase that ball, all over the field, trying to RECOVER!
I'm very sorry, and SAD to say, but the Saints CLEARLY out performed the Vikings!
My Gut is telling me, that the Saints will make WHIMPS, out of the Colts! They are going to literally, RUN OVER THE COLTS; I don't believe the Super Bowl will be NEARLY as EXCITING as the Games we watched yesterday!
In any event, I will be watching; if the Saints don't allow the Colts to Score, all while they're scoring, then it will become one BORING GAME!
What could have been is gone- the Saints would not have needed to win in OT if the fumbles they caused had been recovered- instead of falling on the ball they made mistake of trying to pick it up and run allowing the Vikings to recover- if not score might have been more like NO 45 Vikings 14
Captiosus, don't blame the officiating, if it weren't for the officiating the game never would have gotten to OT because the Saints would have won going away. Roughing the passer on a form tackle? Give me a break, even Troy Aikman, a HOF QB, thought the call was ridiculous, a call that kept a drive alive and resulted in a TD. Not to mention many other questionable (at best) calls against the Saints to keep the Vikes in it. The Saints played poorly and still should have won by 2 TD's. The Colts couldn't win a BCS game without Manning and if the Saints can hit him as much as they did Favre then we'll find out how effective a QB can be from his back!
At the risk of being called insensitive, I am afraid that we'll hear far too much about the Saints and hurricane Katrina

I agree, i am from new orleans and i am tired of katrina references. but in all honesty, that is the NFL media that keeps making the connection. in new orleans, we are sick of it. but i still choose my boys in black and gold to win.

And by the way, we are also tired of hearing about Katrina and being permanently connected to that storm. We are not the ones reminding everyone of that connection. That is totally the fault of the media who will not let that subject die out!

Truthfully,it should have never gone into OT, the Vikings where robbed of a TD in regular play. It should have ended 28-21 Vikings. I LOVE my Saints but, but this was not cool and all us Saints fans know it...

You mean like when they called the Saints for PI when it was not? the officiating was good and bad both sides and the Viking fumbles had they been recovered by the Saints would have cut Minn score to about 14 and Saints to maybe 45- that is football and the officials are only human and lets not forget to put part of it on Favre and Peterson they are the ones that fumbled and got intercepted
What game did you watch? Most the "bad" calls I saw were against the Saints (roughing the passer... give me a break)
Hope the Saint defense doesn't cheap shot the quarterback talk about dirty guess they had a real desire to have Farve retire. GO COLTS

Sorry Indiana girl,but if my Vikings could have gotten to the Saints Quarterback, and do what they did to Farve, believe me, it would have been DONE! They just couldn't get to him, for he was BETTER protected than Farve!
In addition, the way they CAUSED my Vikings to FUMBLE, and SACK my quarterback, left me in shock!

Just like they did to my team yesterday! The Vikings wanted to win REAL BAD; MORE than the Vikings wanted it! and we WITNESSED just how bad they wanted it, with those FUMBLES and SACKS to my team!
STOP MAKING EXCUSES for the Vikings, I'm POSITIVE they would say, the Saints WON fair and square, HAPPY to see the Saints win their FIRST PLAY OFF EVER, and since they can't go to the Super Bowl, they are MORE than happy, and will support the Saints and PRAY that our Conference WINS the Super Bowl!

Well tig,you have to admit, the Saints did get one Touchdown out of one of those fumbles ......... which put them AHEAD, which forced them into Overtime!
I swear, we had TWO AWESOME Super Bowl Games yesterday! Those guys played their HEARTS OUT!

I was so impressed with the Saints Offense and how they PROTECTED their Quarterback, whereby Farve did not get that kind of protection. Sorry to say, I did not see much of the Colts game.
But I WANT THE SAINTS TO WIN, since they've never kissed the soil of a play off, nor been on the field of a Super Bowl Game, to play for the Title, ever!
Quite frankly, I wanted to see the Vikings and Saints in the Super Bowl, being a woman who enjoys Football, but not down with the particulars with what team belongs to which Conference, learned that they belong to the SAME conference!
Well, I have to say, despite the Conference, I did get to watch a Super Bowl Game between my teams and the Saints kicked BUTT!
WOW, WHAT A HECK OF A GAME! BOTH Teams are AWESOME, and it took a Field Goal to PROVE who was the BETTER TEAM! The Vikings really blew many opportunities with Interceptions and Fumbles!
Now we shall see, if the Saints can force the Colts to Fumble as many times as they caused the Vikings to Fumble, and SACK their Quarterback!

Think this is the first time in a long while that the 2 best record teams made it to the final game. Wish them both the best but will be rooting for the Saints to go Rolling on home the SB Champs- bet will top Mardi Gras celebrations when they do

Quite honestly, I really don't want to get into the which team plays for which Conference, I just enjoy GREAT GAMES, and we had TWO yesterday! I'll leave all that technical stuff to you guys, and ASK QUESTIONS when I want to know more!
It's doesn't bother me one bit, NOT KNOWING EVERYTHING, I'm just glad to know there are people around WHO DO! Is it not the reason we have schools, colleges, friends and family; people who specialize in areas we're not familiar with .... isn't it just GREAT, we're not all Indian Chiefs! ;-)
By the way, I've enjoyed most sports all my life, use to be a good softball played and tried women's basketball; have two sons that played football and basketball; was married to a man who was a natural athletic in basketball and football; he's only 5'8", but ran circles around men, 6' and taller! In fact, he went to school with, with played with Kareem Jabar (high school) and a few more, whose names slip me, who are from the NY area! Therefore, not a new fan, I just never got into the technical stuff!
Use to be a loyal Chicago Bears Fan when Walter Payton played; after they FINALLY won a Super Bowl and he retired, I really lost interest. Man, was I ticked when they would NOT ALLOW him to score a TOUCHDOWN in that game.
Football is a very physical and violent game! When I use to take my son to practice, I asked him, "how do you stand all that rough stuff, & having to practice in the heat, rain and snow?" He says, "mom you gotta LOVE the game!"
Lots of cheap hits last night. Nice way to win Saints. The Vikings shot them selves in the foot and any other team would have been able to take advantage of those turnovers making it a blowout. I look forward to seeing you get buried by the Colts. :)

The colts solved the best defense in the league and beat them soundly. The colts defense is the most underrated in the league. Colts are the best team in the NFL and the most professional. Colts by at least two touchdowns
