Iverson plays. TMac does not. that's the difference between these 2. Fans voted Iverson because he is still very popular of course there are better guards but what the hell Iverson is future Hall of fame. He deserve to be there. Iverson is one of the best guard of all time and he is short.

While Iverson may not be up to his previous standard of play when he is healthy I really see no problem with AI playing. Joe Johnson has had an exemplary year but the fact remains based on the process he was not voted in as a starter. The people of Atlanta and other fans had their opportunity. Had he played a hand full of games like McGrady I could better understand but that is not the case so until the process changes these types of things are sure to happen and it probablyh has in the past it just hasn't gotten blown out of portion but I guess that is okay if you happen to be an AI detractor. Allen Iverson is a future hall of famer, this could be his last season, he's nearly 35 and has arthitis in his knee, the young guards who play better than him will get their chance to start in the game next year or the year after.
