It was so disappointing to see Colt McCoy go down to an injury. We will never know what " might have been". But this we do know, he is one fine young man, as attested to at the end of the game when he talked with Lisa Salters. One can only wish him the best as he continues his journey standing " On the Rock". I cant help but wonder why Mack Brown put all his 'eggs' on one great QB. There literally was no running game to pull it out for them. They did the best they could. But, let's give a lot of credit to Mark Ingram and the Tides QB Greg McElroy. They, too, are fine young men. We shall quality at its best tonight. As an SEC fan, I quite naturally pulled for the Tide, remembering that the SEC has four consecutive national championships. So, Roll Tide, we are proud of you here in Kentucky.
Texas hasn't had a running game all season but Alabama obviously doesn't have a passing game. McElroy won't be playing in the NFL so he should enjoy college. Ingram will turn pro as soon as he can. Why wait? He has a Heisman and a National Championship. All he can do now is get hurt like Bradford and McCoy...
Ingram is a great student! What a concept? He plans to get his degree and his mom plans to make sure he stays grounded and gets his degree. Look for him through at least next year.
That's enough! McElroy hater give the guy a break he's only been in full time duty for 1 season given the talent that he has around him he will have his break-out season in 2010 and bama will be back on top again. Roll Tide Roll.

Too many excellent football teams ~~ Texas, USC, Boise State, Ohio State ~ & odds are against any team dominating again like Okla did in 40
