Florida is overrated. It's all about Tebow and Urban. And if it's true that he is stepping down. Then we'll see how good the program will be next season.
Myer is leaving behind a dynasty. They will prevail in the Sugar Bowl and next season. Urban is leaving an awesome underclass, that he brought to the Gators. Go Gators and good luck to you Urban Myer. One of the classiest coaches to ever coach. We will miss you!!!
Florida is wayyy overrated because they won't play any good nonconference team. Florida gators will only play a cupcake schedule because they can't beat a real nonconference team. Atleast Georgia Bulldogs will schedule good nonconference opponents. Florida gators are a bunch of pussies!!!!!
how'd that nonconference schedule work out for the bulldogs this year? OSU was the only one worth mention this year and that turned into a loss. I'm not disagreeing that the Gators were overrated THIS YEAR but don't go blaming it on the schedule of all things; the offense was good just not as dominant as previous years.
Now if the Florida Gators are "a bunch of pussies" then how is it they've trashed those beloved Bulldogs 4 out of the last 5 years that includes 2 national titles?.......I'm guessing that makes them a bunch of talented pussies, huh?.
The UF athletic program is rolling in money and resources. Administration is supportive, fans are dedicated, the campus is beautiful, Gainesville is super cool and laid back, the state is talent rich. UF is the best coaching job in the country
Florida is a very highly rated school academically, beautiful campus, great college town, warm weather, elite athletic facilities in all sports, will always be among the very top football programs and will be one of very few, very few that has a chance to win it all. I'd say along with Florida that Penn State, , OSU, USC, Alabama, LSU, Texas, OU, Nebraska and maybe Notre Dame or Michigan are the cream of the crop and make a good arguement as the Top 10.
Florida's loss is really three-fold. Dan Mullen, Charlie Strong and Top Man Urban Meyer. It wont be easy for them to put this all in place by next fall, but you can count on them trying, that's for sure. I dont think there is a Tim Tebow waiting in the wings either. But its still Florida, they will not lay down easily. Good luck Jeremy as you have your work cut out for you. Go Gators
Good weather schools will always prevail. In the past when air travel was not that common the northern athletes would stay close to home. But the attitude now is If I'm a top 100 athlete and I have my choice of schools you can bet your A$$ I'm not gonna be standing in the snow when I can be on the beach.
Roll Tide
Not just that, states like Florida, Texas and Califonrian have outstanding High School Football programs, and provide enough top talent then don't HAVE to go out ot their region. That said it sure doesn't hurt when recruting to compare Fall and Winter in Boise to that in Gainsville!
UF will slip because Tebow, Spikes, Cooper, Haden, Dunlop, the Twins, etc. are leaving, not UM. UM is sick like a fox. This program can only go down now. Watch the 5-star recruits start to defect now. Everyone in the SEC predicted UM would be leaving after this senior team left although we thought it was for a job like ND. It all makes sense now.

Meyer makes a big difference wherever he goes. Too bad he needs a break.
