For USC, a school that has known nothing but Bowl Championship Series games the past seven seasons and always has its sights on playing for a national championship, the Emerald Bowl could be seen as a letdown.

I dont get the NCAA they allow two players with DUI's to play in thier games. They allow a thug to play in the Oregon game.. They ban for life a player who told a lie about a dinner and now they want to ban a player for driving a SUV..THE NCAA needs to be banned..
I am looking forward to SC being putting on probation for their repeated rules violations, starting with Reggie Bush (hopefully he will have to forfeit his Hesiman as well), the payoffs to OJ Mayo and now the McKnight SUV case.
Apparently Joe McKnight's mother never taught him how to tell the truth. I love it that McKnight denys driving the car, even though he has repeatedly been seen behind the wheel.
SC's athletic department is akin to a criminal enterprise, acting like the rules apply to everyone else butt them and they are free to do what they please.
Sounds like another whiner.. So what he was driving a SUV and so what Mayo got free tickets to a ball game.. The NCAA makes a BILLION on these kids. i dont have a problem with them getting to drive a SUV or have dinner with a NFL player or get Tickets from a NBA Player. Or a fruit basket (UW) QB that got Them banned from Bowl games (THANK YOU OREGON) for being the RAT..
USC must be proud.
PAC-10 is as weak as ever! However, some of the sportswriters and sportscasters still probably think USC should be No 1!

What none of you can tell me what is wrong with him DRIVING A SUV? SO WHAT? It is just like DEZ getting banned for going to DINNER with Deon. LOL yet two players get DUI's and are alllowed to play in the National Championship game and in another BCS game.. and Another player who sucker punched a player and should have been charged with a crime is allowed to play..
