Alabama junior running back Mark Ingram will get at least one more chance to win college football's most coveted prize again. After making your vote, back it up in the discussion below.
Will Ingram win another Heisman Trophy?
Sat Dec 12, 2009 11:35 PM EST

HELL no. shouldn't have won this one, but folks felt sorry for Alabama never getting one. waaaaaah.
Ingram wasn't even the fourth bast back in the country. Gerhart and Suh were better players for the entire year but Ingram was on the best team so I guess that is what the award is now based on.
It's hard to see Ingram winning again. This year was a 'perfect storm' of opportunity (Bradford injured, Tebow mediocre) that is not likely to be repeated. Doesn't really matter though. The Heisman is just one award and does nothing to predict future (NFL) success.
Give credit where credit is due ya bunch of wine babies!!!
It's too bad for Ingram that his coach doesn't keep players in even when it's a blowout. Ingram sat down in the second half for a couple of games. It's too bad for Ingram that there's another running back on the team that frequently gets to play to keep Ingram rested and well. It's too bad for Ingram that a lot of people who post on here don't realize that a good part of his yards were made dragging people twice his size hanging on to him.
Mark Ingram You deserved the Heisman and don't let anyone say you didn't
There is far to much talent in the college game today to expect him to win again. He will continue to be a great running back on a great 'Bama team, but the competion will figure out a way to get their arms around him in 2010. 'Bama will have to wait a few more years to have a second Heisman in the trophy case.
Mark You Deserve the Heisman and I am proud to call myself a Bama Fan. You won it through blood sweet and tears of joy for winning it. It is now time to get back to work. All these people complaining the heck with them all.
Don't be a hater jus cause Bama has enough talent to rotate players in out keeping them fresh and ready to go. Nick Saban is not Meyers keeping first string in to run up the score. Thats why they sit out.
Two years ago, I thought Tebow would win 2 more. Last year, I thought Bradford would win two more.
I'm happy for Ingram, but again.....I don't think so....there are just too many great players out there, some of whom should have been considered this year.
No way Ingram wins a 2nd...Suh should've won this year.
yes Ingram IS on THE best team,Hands down! And i was routing for him.But had he not got it,i would've liked to seen gerhart get it
It's just another point of abc espn bias towards the SEC, how many ranked teams did Florida play (LSU, Bama?) It a conference of very soft schedules. No contest with the west coast!!!!!!
Mark, I have enjoyed watching you play and as a mother of a son who is your age I am very proud of all you have accomplished in such a short amount of time. God has big plans for you. Keep strong in your faith and your focus. And to the negative people out there, why can't you just be happy for Mark and the accomplishments that he has had so far. That is what is wrong in our world right now we can't just be happy for someone we always have to find the negative and can't just focus on the positive. I wanted Mark to win because I am a fan of the University of Alabama but I would have been happy for anyone of the players there that night because they are all deserving of the recognition of their hard work. ROLL-TIDE-ROLL!!!!
'Bama has many really good players this year and it looks as if, because of the *great* program run by Nick Saban, the number will continue to grow. (Look for the Tide to be pre-season #1 next year.) But Ingram will have competition, even from his 'relief' this year -- Trent Richardson. Trent is bigger, stronger and faster than Mark and, should both remain healthy, it will be a contest for playing time and headlines *within* the team.
You know what they say about opinions? Well, mine is that he might just win another. If he stays healthy and keeps his mindset as it is right now he has a very good chance. That being said ROLLLLLL TIDE ROLLLLLL!!!!!
The SEC is by far the best. The defence talent in the SEC is far greater . I would put South Carolina up again any other conference leader. The winner of these match ups would be SC most of the time. And SC is not even in the top 3 teams of the SEC.Loser cry but but and if.Winners are Winners. read it ,learn it love it.
Bama wouldn't have made it to the National Chanmpionship without Ingram. Ingram deserved it and sorry cry babies need to get over it. Bama has been smart on taking Ingram out when they're ahead. Why take a chance on hurting your top runningback. I can't get over the comment from the Texas jerk...you'll see in the championship game why Ingram beat out your quarterback. I guess than you'll be waaaaaahhhh!!!!!!!
I think the biggest competition for Ingram will be from within his own team. I would vote for Ingram for another Hiesman, given his past performance, but I think Bama will win another, soon, whether it be Ingram, Richardson, or Mcleroy. Possible Bama threesome in the running next year. RRRRRRROOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL TTIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDEEEE.
Ingram is a really rare player. He helped Richardson become a better player all season, and will share more and more of the carries as a result. Richardson is probably more talented than any back in D1. However Ingram didnt withold advice to help him develop. Ingram is a very rare teamate. He is truly more interested in giving to the team instead of receiving trophies. His reward is in the respect he has from the people he admires, which are his coaches, teamates, and fellow students. He is a wonderful role model.
No. I hate to tell you 'Bama fans, Ingram will go pro after this year. With a Heisman and a National Championship, there's no reason to stay and risk injury like U of Miami running back Willis McGahee.
