only an issue because she is a female and now branded as sexy and also professional driver. link that to godaddy and it becomes real steamy. going to be a bad day for both if she doesnt learn how to win. The media is always looking for a really hot or bad thing to talk about. I'm sure Tiger is hoping to have her take the hear off him. Press loves to destroy these peoples lives. It makes them money.
I can't wait till she tries to slug or get in the face of Tony Stewart or Kyle "Krybaby" Busch!!! I'm just hoping a REAL driver will have enough balls to hit her back!
Danica's won one race in 81 because all her competitor's ran out of fuel and handed her the win in Japan. Her small stature (read that "much lower weight") than her competitors may well have given her the extra mileage she needed to pull off a win. In NASCAR, that is going to work just the opposite. Let's see how competitively a 100 pound woman can drive a stock car against the much bigger and stronger guys. I'm betting she'll be a constant back marker if she can even keep it off the wals. Time to prove "walk the walk" BABY.
Some valid comments are being made about the commercialization in NASCAR, it's getting to be too much. We see enough product exposure all through the race with sponsors logos prominently displayed everywhere.
I worked in radio/TV years ago and we tried to avoid sponsors logos in our camera shots every time we could. That's impossible now, in fact, product mention on air used to be a required FCC logging as a "commercial", but I guess that disappeared when Reagan de-regulated the broadcast industry.
Danica will no doubt bring some fans to the sport, but I, for one, am getting tired of the constant product mention during post race interviews. I'm actually getting tired of the commercialization in all sports, (college athletes being made to wear the Nike logo w/o getting paid??) and when it gets to be too much, I'll just stop watching!
She is already connected to Go Daddy, as they are her sponsor on the IRL car, so what is the big deal because she has Go Daddy as a sponsor for NASCAR.
So Danica is a racecar driver? Really? So how does that relate to Girl on Girl sex? I guess I should just give it up an visit godaddy to find out. In the meantime am I right in assuming that there would be a slightly different reaction if you were to show commercials for gomama that suggested you go there to see a little man on man sex with you're favorite driver? I'm just asking because this whole racing/marketing thing is just so complicated, I can't really follow it.
Every morning she gets up and it's about selling you something, that's all. I can't really see her sawing on the wheel coming out of turn 4 and headed down the front stretch close to the wall. Maybe she will a race that is rain shortened, like David Reutimann did, but that's all. She got her comeupance from Milka Duno with a towel to her face ................
I think the addition of Danica Patrick to the NASCAR world will give the sport an uplift and it will bring in more female fans. The sport is chock-full of female fans already but introducing a female driver will bring in the die-hard female fan. It happened at the Indianapolis 500 when a female (particularly Danica Patrick) became a legitimate contender for the race win. A few years ago she was leading the 500 late in the race but fell back to fourth in the final laps. Good luck to Danica in her NASCAR endeavor in 2010.
First off isn't the issue of sponsors due to the cost of this sport? Then secondly, why is everyone upset that Danica Patrick has attitude, what driver doesn't? Is everyone turning into a bunch of cry babies in this country? We can't stand conflict, we don't want our feelings hurt, and we don't want to see ads. Grow up be glad there's more on TV then shows depicting someone living in a fish bowl. I for one hope Danica and all the other women in the sport do well and make it entertaining to watch. I think she has just as good of a chance to win as the next person, so sit back and enjoy the show. Or don’t but for crying out loud stop whining about it.
I agree! She has as much right to race as Kelly Earnhardt did, only difference is she trully has talent and nerves to do it! Many guys out there who don't have the balls to do it but don't waste no time dissing her for doing it! Besides, she can't help, it if she's beautiful and sexy as hell to boot! How many female fans think the same for some of the prettyboy male drivers?

There is a chance she could win one.
its so cold right now I cant type. lol!
you go, girl! Take the money and run. I hope you make more money than Tiger Woods and get to sleep with a million hot guys.......
Dawn, you realize she's married right???

No worse than driver-drug ads
or driver-alcohol ads
or driver-tobacco ads.
