Not only in troops requested, they wanted to cut off funding for our guys. Do you have anyone serving or know anyone. How would they feel to know that. Thats why I say PATHETIC. Dont tell our troops you will send help whenever "I" want to or put a price on our troops. SUPPORT MEANS SUPPORT last time I checked....not loligag.

Yes Woopstud: I do have people serving, and yes no troops are being killed due to the decision making, because no troops were supposed to be sent until next year anyway. And when did they want to cut funding? You have been feed a line a mile long. I have people in Iraq and Afghanistan and have a son who is a Ranger, so yes I care, but you don't have the true facts.

Verno.....your knowledge of the Dems trying to Cut Funding for our troops is embarrassing, and I feel like I am backtracking to be discussing it with you. He has spent more on the troops than most, and if you mean cutting out the Missile shield, yes he did that but it is not needed, but he increased spending on the part of the military that was really needed. He has not cut anything that our men and women who are fighting need right now. He has given the troops a increase in pay, and also is doing more to help the Vets. So I don't know where you are getting off about him cutting funding for our troops. He has ordered better Hum Vees that don't get the bottoms blown out of them, like Bush sent to them. So maybe you had better backtrack a little bit and see what is really going on and not just the right wing spin that you want to puke out.

And just for clarification, please list the things that you think he has cut. I would really like to know.

Get this Verno, Obama has TRIPLED.....let me repeat....TRIPLED the deficit in 1 year. It took 233 years to build that deficit and he TRIPLED it in "1"....."1" year. Yes, the Dems were trying to cut spending for out troops, with Pelosi leading the way. He hasnt done a damn for our troops but procrastinate about everything. The trip to Asia, the Ball Room Dance, Stuffing his face with Turkey, and now a basketball game......come on. I know that Bush put all his leisure activities on the burner because he cared about the troops.
