Albert Pujols is the unanimous winner of the National League MVP award, becoming the first player to repeat since Barry Bonds won four in a row from 2001-04.
Pujols a unanimous pick as repeat MVP winner

Well it's quite appropriate that Pujols is in the same company as Bonds. As soon as our beloved informant leaks the rest of the names on the list of 104 he'll have yet another thing in common with Bonds and we can stop the charade of praising this guy's "clean" achievements.
Wishful thinking my dear man, wishful thinking.
Exactly what I was thinking. What do Pujols and Bonds have in common, Huge stats and Huge bodies and what else......juice
David - do you have any proof? Hard evidence? If so please present it.
I never claimed to have any proof, I merely believe you're fooling yourself if you honestly believe he's not on the list. If you claim to be able to say you're more than 50/50 sure he's not on the list then you're in denial. Sure he's a nice guy and does a lot of charitable things but then again here's David Ortiz, a nice guy who does a lot of charitable things.
all hail to the greatest RH hitter in...well...it's subject to debate but he's gotta be up there on the all-time list. this should have been at least his 4th win but i shall not sully the discussion by further mention of Mr. Bonds.
here's hoping Albert's elbow holds up and he ends his career atop baseball's Mount Olympus.
and diamondduq, please produce proof, otherwisestop trollin'.
how can anyone produce more proof than the mans size and stats. if its to good to be true then it is. you guys are a dime a dozen until info comes out. people used to make same arguments about Sosa, Palmeiro, McGuire, etc... you see what you want to see. mlb won't let out the truth. what company ever confesses to anything that would hurt their bottom line = zero
do you still believe in Santa Claus and Easter Bunny too. I see them in the mall every year so they must be real.
YOU guys are a dime a dozen - unable to accept that there are players at or close to the peak of human perfection for their sports. Sosa (corked bat, bad attitude, sudden inability to speak English before Congress) Palmeiro (flat-out busted after his Congressional tirade) McGwire (andro and please note correct spelling) are NOTHING like Pujols.
"how can anyone produe more proof than the mans (sic) size and stats"? with a positive drug test or some other chemical analysis, or eyewitness testimony, that's how. otherwise, there's nothing.
centrist-1488550,
"a positive drug test" is out there, it just hasn't been made public yet. Feel free to review my previous post #1.4 for comments regarding this issue.
If Pujols quit today, he would qualify for the Hall of Fame in five years, provided that he doesn't show up on an infamous list of cheaters. His stat line since coming into the Bigs has featured one career year after another. I do hope the young man doesn't let his fans down, that he is as clean as he says he is and enjoys a career that finishes as grandly as it has begun.
Congratulations to Albert-he was, far-and-away, the best in MLB this past year.
As far as the 'List' goes, release the hounds...a few names have already surfaced and that should have opened the flood gates.
These awards are all meaningless and are a joke! We all suspect Pujols of cheating like the rest. Until they start testing EVERYONE every 2nd or 3rd day so the drugs wont be out of their systems if taken then they need to do away with these awards and stats. The union wont go for it because they are part of the problem. Baseball wont do it because it will cost them, which leads me to the conclusion as to whether they really want integrity back in the game. They pick on just enough stars to make it look as if they are cleaning up their act!!! Until they are willing to take drastic measures and institute a rock solid testing program so that no one can slip through or be fore warned of an upcoming test then baseball has absolutely no credibility or integrity!!! Shame on Major League Baseball, the Players Union, Pujols and the rest for cheating baseball and more importantly cheating the real fans of the game! Most important are the numerous kids that look up to them, the message that cheating is ok especially if you don't get caught....real heros!
A-459781: I've seen your previous posts on the 'Vine and they are indicative of your extremely negative views of everything and everyone. You must be an absolute delight to live with!
Albert received the MVP votes unanimously. If there were any indication of him using steroids, "once bitten, twice shy", then the votes would not have been across the board. Regarding the "List", this came out last year and I'm sure if Albert had even been suspected of using steroids, etc., it would have come out then. As 'Joe Speranzi' stated above, the "floodgates" would have opened.
I believe you're just jealous that Albert doesn't play on your team!
Congratulations, Albert "El Hombre", for being such a class act! You definitely deserve it!
As far as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny go, I hope you negative thinkers get a big lump of coal in your stocking and piles of bunny poo in your basket!
Interesting references to Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny since you're treating Albert the same way. I just wish I could be present when you receive news that he also is not real.
diamondduq: Not me! I don't want your negative attitude anywhere near me. You and 'A-#####' belong together.
You also probably believe that everyone is guilty before proven innocent. What a great guy to have on a jury!
So...are you saying Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny take steroids?
Albert is a hero in St. Louis and he and his wife have contributed to many charities. It's not only the monetary contributions, but his actual participation in these charities, also, that make him a quality human being.
Can't say the same fo you.
KrisT,
Actually I was saying Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are about as real as Albert being clean and for the record David Ortiz has...
...and yet he is also guilty of using PED's. Also, your jury comment isn't valid as I never said he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, merely that he certainly isn't innocent beyond a reasonable doubt. Furthermore, even if he is never proved to be guilty it would be the equivalent to OJ Simpson being found innocent of murder, everyone still knows he did it, they just can't prove it.
diamondduq: Also, interesting that previous comments regarding Kobe Bryant's actions were supported by you in stating that there was no rape committed in the hotel tryst that he had. Were you there?
Whether or not a rape occurred, Kobe was definitely a cheater and a dog. I was glad that he forked over so much money to buy his wife a humongous ring. Interesting that you support such a scumbag. Kobe is such a fine example for all the boys and young men out there.
Hypocrite.
