The Dolphins are coming together when other teams are coming apart. Moral: If you peak early, the rest of the season may be down hill. A mature Ricky Williams certainly helps. Of course, having a Tuna directing the Dolphins is the big plus.
Bill Parcells can do wonders if the ownweship leave him alone and lets him do his thing. You can see the difference in their performance these past 2 years.
Last night's game at Carolina was an amazing TEAM effort!
I have followed the Dolphins for 40 years and this was in many respects an exemplary and thoroughly shared win...Tony Sparano would have had to give out more than a dozen game balls to recognize everyone's efforts. It was a magnificent night for Ricky Williams, he is a stud! But there were so many contributors, our o-line and our d-line and our defensive backs played really well. Yeremiah Bell is a stud defensive back, and both Sean Smith and Vontae Davis are learning quickly as rookies and getting better every week. Our QB Chad Henne is making great progress. The RB position, even though we will sorely miss Ronnie, is in capable hands with Ricky, Lousaka Polite, and Lex Hilliard. Joey Porter had 2 sacks and 8 tackles, and Randy Starks had an awesome night disrupting Carolina's offense. Our receivers were good, especially Devone Bess and Brian Hartline. Ted Ginn had a couple of impressive kickoff returns and Brandon Fields was doing great at punting the ball. Most of all I would like to salute our linemen who played with injuries and through injuries and always had each others back. Great job Dolphins!
Yes they have a shot at it GO FINS!!!
