With all signs pointing toward the Knicks signing Allen Iverson once he clears waivers at 6 p.m. on Thursday, the Miami Heat have become late entrants in the sweepstakes.
Report: Heat also interested in Iverson

No, No, No!!! I posted in the Knicks thread the same thing as wish he would just retire (or just go away!) He has a history of wrecking teams, constant complaints when he does not get the ball or enough looks.
If given the change though, he will skip out on the knicks. They are 1-9 (2-9 now so they must have won eariler) but they dont have a chance of a playoff run. He really cannot hurt the knicks and they will ditch him after a year to join the "King James Lottery"
If Miami comes sniffing, AI will go running because they likely WILL make the playoffs. AI gets his face on TV and next year begg someone to take him for more money? I also think this will take mr wade from his game.
AI is still a top 15 player in the league. If he would put his ego aside, he and D Wade would make the best back court in the NBA. I could see them making a run at Boston for the eastern conference.
Just go away.
Both teams suck anyway and with AI (a/k/a "The Quitter) they will still suck.
