Sign with the lakers! the lakers really need a point guard right now. fisher is getting older and was never that good, only an average player at best. farmar sucks and brown is only good sometimes. lakers should sign iverson to a similar incentive-laden contract and have the right to terminate at any time if things dont work well. this should work out well for the lakers if they are smart enough to consider this option. if the lakers want to repeat as champions, then at least consider this option!!

What a waste of incredible talent.  Nobody wants this kind of player anymore.  Look at the pattern from the last few years. By letting the players get at least a glimpse of college ball before entering the draft, there is a greater emphasis on team players, because only the great teams win.  The stars have to be unselfish, and Iverson is as big a ball hog as they come.  Let's see how much any of the European teams are interested in the great AI.

AI still got game, period! Anyone who thinks he doesn't, is a fool! If you can score 20-30 pts/game, then let the play speak for itself! We all have issues, he's just under tha scope. Holla back!

The knicks absolutely need to sign him. He can start easily, he wants to be there, and he will thrive in the fast paced offense. Iverson will run the floor, actually try hard in the game(imagine that), he will drive and dish to gallo - the only knicks player that matters anyway. Why will he dish to gallo? Because you're right he is somewhat selfish, but so are most players of his caliber, that's how that got that far in the first place, he will be looking for big stats in points and assists. He will recognize that the best way to get assists would be to dvive and dish to gallo. Defenders have to respect Iverson's ability to penetrate and score, so they'll have to pick him up on d - not like with duhon where they know he's not doing anything anyway. Iverson will also be the go to scorer and leader. Remember when Al harrington said he was gonna be the leader? HAH. THAT was funny, or "sad"(that seems to be every sportswriter's favorite word lately). Tony douglas and nate robinson will look up to, and learn, from iverson. Thay grew up watching him play. Players aren't talented all stars one year, and then magically turn into an old waste in one year. He was VERY good his last year in denver, and that was very recent. Since then he has just been in the wrong situations. Please, Knicks organization, get over your pride and self- righteousness and sign Allen Iverson. You owe it to the fans.
