Cable was doomed from the start......after all he was hired by Al Davis. Anyone taking on that job knowing the history of the franchise under Davis then knew from day one he would win big time with a sub standard roster or be fired.

Davis is doing what is necessary to not pay a coach (sound like a pattern) not what is done to build a winning team. This once proud franchise is doomed until Davis is gone.

Cable is an excellent offensive line coach and he will find a job with another team next season. Al and duh Raiders will be left to hire another first time heach coach either this season or next and the team will have another losing season in 2010.
