Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany can't be happy with what happened last week, which cost his league some big bucks and put USC back in the BCS mix. But the Trojans don't exactly appear ready to run the rest of their table, so Iowa and Penn State, along with Miami (Fla.), still have their hopes.
Bowl Projections: Big Ten blows BCS spot

USC will play Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. The Sugar Bowl gets first choice of the at-larges this year. They'll take the biggest draw with USC. Fiesta will be TCU and Boise St, while the orange will Cincy and Ga Tech. Rose will be Oregon and Ohio St. NC - FLorida v Texas.
Gottaa like a Rush fan. By the way, if your prediction comes to pass I hope U$C beats Alabamastan 100-0! I live in the piss ant state and have only about another year before I can leave!
Rush lives!!!!!!!!!
You forgot the Sun Bowl.
That's what I noticed (I live in El Paso). The local paper has an article in this morning's edition that says there's a chance USC, Oklahoma, Arizona, or Texas Tech (or some combination of them) may be in the Sun Bowl.
Jim Delany is the biggest thorn in the way to a playoff system. Screw the Rose Bowl. Let's get a playoff going among 16 or 32 teams and incorporate the bowl games in it. I am sick and tired of discussing the super subjective rankings and the load of BS that comes with it.
love to see oregon destroy ohio state. it will give additional credibility to pac10 and/or prove that the pride of the big 10 is still a joke.
Where is the Sun Bowl? and USC?
You left out the Sun Bowl you idiot!!! It's the second oldest bowl game in the nation next to the Rose Bowl.
Clemson is about to play in the ACC Title game. How are you arriving at the 3rd place finish? Not that I'm complaining about a Gator Bowl play, but still...
Although I am a Duck's fan, I didn't see Oregon State (or PAC-10 #3) mentioned anywhere. Could that be the Sun Bowl?
Can't put much validity into projections that list a conference game as a predicted bowl matchup. You may want to look at the Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl again. I doubt it will be an all MAC game.
Why is Notre Dame going to any bowl at all?
This story is behind the curve. The SEC has already struck deals that result in the following:
Capital One - LSU
Cotton - Ole Miss
Outback - Auburn
Music City - Kentucky
Liberty - Arkansas
Chik-fil-a - Tennessee
Independence - Georgia
Papa John's - South Carolina
You predict Clemson to beat Georgia Tech in the ACC championship game, and then predict Georgia Tech to go to Orange Bowl? What???????
Iowa CRUSHED Penn State in their house...they're ahead of them in every poll that matters.
BCS cannot slot Penn State in a better bowl than Iowa's.
John - Tennesse is in the east division, Ole Miss is in the west
"The Tide will roll"...but only into the Sugar Bowl. The Gators win the SEC Championship by 10 points, the last 7 points will come in the last 5 minutes.
The list inaccurate Troy HAS NOT accepted a bid to the New Orleans bowl
Cincy or TCU is more worthy then Texas to play Alabama!
