No. 3 Alabama picked up another dramatic win and a second straight trip to the SEC championship game. Julio Jones caught a 73-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, the Crimson Tide converted the 2-point attempt, and Leigh Tiffin booted a 40-yard field goal with 3:04 left to seal a 24-15 victory over No. 9 LSU on Saturday.

roll tide!!!!!!
Roll Tide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cant say a lot cuz I am a Florida fan who has been aided by the very same officials that helped Alabama win tonight. That was an LSU interception that would have changed the entire complexion of that game. No two ways about it. Peterson caught that ball with both feet down no matter what angle you look at it from. That call would have cost Alabama that game.
As it is we will meet in a few weeks so that the SEC champion will knock the SEC contender out of the national championship. I dont think there is another team in the country that could beat either Alabama or Florida.
You are a funny lil gator. lol
that was not an interception. his foot was on the line. he was clearly out of bounds.
Les, take the fine! Complain about the officialling in this game! Lousy calll on the out-of-bounds catch on Peterson's pickoff. If 10 million football fans can see that the receiver came down in bounds in possession of the ball, why in the *&$% can't the replay officials see what everyone else does?! Outrageous! Bama played well, but LSU wuz robbed of the game-changing interception! Wanna borrow my specs, ref?
Dude he didnt have control of the ball when he had his tippy toe right on the line. Remember unless there is undisputed proof then the call on the field stands. And unlike Florida we didn't rush another play to avoid a review like Florida did against Arkansas, twice. You Bama haters reek of fear!!! Wa Ha Ha Ha!! Boo!!!!
I guess the SEC front office can hardly wait for that "pay day". I 'm sure there is a profit sharing plan for their officiating staff that made it all possible. The big boys can't be satisfied with a College Football monopoly they have to have it all. Secondly, Alabama should have received the "death penality" several years ago for the corruption in their program from the school administration all the way down to the coach and coaching staff, but never fear the money is here.
Dude if you dont think corruption is in every school you are on STRONG ANTI-DEPRESANTS. I am not agreeing with Alabama paying that Memphis High School Coach for influencing young players to go to Bama but ALL schools have or are doing it Hoss. If anything Bama is cleaner than most programs after all that. Never forget Tenn old coach Fullmer was the rat who turned us in. Anyway hate Bama all you want doesn't matter we paid our debt and we are back kickin azz honey.
Are you kidding? The Bama alumni have spent more money than God trying to entice recruits... well when their coach isnt in a strip club that is... I am a Gator fan and I am here to tell you Fullmer was an honest man who, when he took over for Majors, whipped the Tide a lot! At least here in Florida we build football teams at our three major schools the old fashion, time tested way... we see who is on work release from jail to see who our starters will be!!
Paul
You eye gauging felons are known for paying recruits through your boosters. And by the way your sugar daddy Steinbrenner is not really liked in the south so go name another building after him. Fullmer was not respected by other coaches. Fullmer is/was a big fat cry baby, like you gators.
Yeah he beat us alot when we were penalized for his ratting us out. What a freaking rat. You gators are rats too. If memory serves me right it was Fat Fulmer and little man Spurior who were so threatened by the Holy Football Empire that they conspired together to oust Bama. I can't stand Tenn or Fla.. Can't wait to spank your azz in Atlanta.
