Who's reputation is hurt more by Magic's book?

- Magic says Isiah questioned his sexuality in ’91Isiah Thomas told SI.com earlier this week that he is “really hurt” over criticisms levied by Magic Johnson in a new book chronicling the careers of Johnson and Larry Bird.

I think this is a sad way for friends to behave. Neither one has anything to gain. Magic Johnson's sexual exploits are well-documented and Isiah is who he is! Two black men discussing B/S in a book; What's the point?
I give Isiah credit....at least he's keeping real! I'm not sure what hell Majic was thinking....I could care less about Bird's motives because he fired Isiah the first chance he got when he got to Indiana! Enuf said!
So it turns out that Magic is the big grinning snake!
The Magic turns out to be a doggone back stabber. Stabs him in the back and blames Isiah for not looking. A successful business man he has become, we now understand his MOD!
You don't become one of the best basketball players ever by being a nice guy, everyone has snakes in there closets. I was a big Detroit fan in the 80's. There both competitors and did what ever it took to win and apparently that is still true.
Where there is smoke, there is usually fire. Without knowing the facts, I'd trust Magic over Isiah anyday especially in view of the carnage that Thomas seems to leave in his wake wherever he goes.
I'm not a grammar God but shouldn't it be- Whose reputation (not who's) is hurt more by Magic's book? If you can replace the word with who is or who has, use who's. If not, use whose. Isiah should have played in the 1992 Olympics and Magic knows it despite their differences. USA-one out of many as the motto goes.
My problem with this latest revelation about Magic playing a role in keeping Isiah off the "Dream Team" is this.....For so long it was asserted that Jordan was the main instigator in boycotting Isiah off the team. Basically Jordan took the fall. If Magic had anywhere near an influence in that decision, why wasn't he man enough to reveal his role in the matter. He (Magic) allowed Jordan to be the fall guy, while maintaining his "Hollywood smiling image." Magic should have been man enough to acknowledge his culpablity long ago, not just now when it is convenient to promote a book. I'd be interested to hear Charles Barkley's take on this, you KNOW he will speak his mind.
I'm very disappointed in Magic Johnson. The bottom line is that his sexual exploits were his own and no one else's! No matter what or who was saying anything, the bottom line is that he brought his consequences on himself! Now, to put in a book all of this negative stuff about someone you considered to be a very close friend is very demeaning to your own character! I'm not saying Isiah is a saint, but, at least he has kept the no so good stuff personal. Magic will probably make a lot of money on the book, but, is it truly worth it when you trash not only someone else's character, but, your own? That's something he'll have to decide (which it looks like he already has) and live with it.
I personally would have a hard time believing Mr. Thomas if he told me the sun rose in the East.
Magic was a GREAT basketball player and as a Laker's Fan one of my all time favorites. That being said he should simply keep his mouth shut. It hurts Thomas and himself. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. But then no one ever said that to be a great Basketball player you needed any common sense.
I had already lost respect for Magic when he decided to ride with Hilary over Obama. I found myself in the store one day looking for suits and came across Magic's designer line (inside lining purple and gold) and thought to myself "not in this lifetime", what a sucker Majic is and called himself a freind. There a song out was that with a little like this "smile in your face all the time want to take your place back stabbers". Why bring up some bull to sell books, Majic's next book tilte should be "I'm a all day sucker and a part time fool"

Majic called himself a friend to Isiah while all the time he was stabbing him in the back and smiling in his face. There was a song out that describes Majic to the tee "They smile in your face all the time want to take your place, the back stabbers". After all this time Majic shows his true color "yellow" what a coward. Majic's next book title should be "ALL DAY SUCKER AND A PART TIME FOOL".
Okay I will say it shouldn't Magic have died of HIV by now?
