Whitey Ford. Most wins in WS. Beat Ruth's scoreless consecutive innings without giving up a run. BTW, Ty Cobb said Ruth was the toughest pitcher he ever faced. Ted Williams said Ford was. He batted under 200 lifetime against Ford.
