U of Oregon made its decision to suspend, it shows a lack of character in wanting to reinstate him. Are victories worth more than character

    He's already missed 3 games of his Senior year. That's more than most players get for throwing a punch.

      Yes, This is a race issue. This was a hasty decision. The coach realizes and wants a chance to win.

        No matter what the University of Oregon coach says, the reinstatement is for selfish football reasons only.

          This doesn't teach Blount anything. Consequences build character - and teaches discipline. Again athletes have no accountability. Sad.

            This whole thing was over blown from the start. Oregon made a hurried and rash judgment call. Before they had a chance to allow some time to reflect on what actually happened. Now they are trying to fix the mistake they made. Why is it always the one who starts things gets away with it and the one who reacts gets punished ?? He should of never got more then suspended for a single game.

              I think that race was a decision factor in the initial decision. People often do what they think the media wants them to do. The coach and school over reacted. I would not come back to play for them if it was me.

                How can you say it was a race issue ! the fact is he blind sided someone with is fist , i think it should be up to the guy that got punched in the face !
