Yes it is.
With T.O. being the reigning clown prince all the 2nd tier jackasses aren't out trying to compete with each other to be #1.
They stay off the front page and under the radar!
T.O. and Talking gOes hand and hand which is great for the NFL. It helps boost ratings!
I'm looking at the last news conferences T.O. has been asked to participate, and he hasn't said anything controversial. My wish for him is to stop speaking to the media and the public, because nothing he says, at this point, will be good enough for anyone. He even alluded to that himself. Where Mike Celizic gets his point from at this point and time is confusing to me. If anyone is a self-centered ego-maniac, it is this so-called writer in my opinion. Flamboyant personalities of certain backgrounds have always had hard times being accepted by the majority community, and it comes a point and time when people like Owens need to quit trying to make nice with any of them. His best alternative is to make peace with himself and live a good life. He comes to camp in shape every year and is ready to play football. The next evolution for this great athlete is to retreat into his inner self and cease trying to make a difference to people like Mike Celizic, who have never laced up an athletic shoe string in their lives. Best wishes to Terrell Owens.
Far from being anything that resembles a T.O. fan, jounalists who attempt to provoke a created story out of anyone required to meet with them (NFL mandate), they are the true media-scum. The surprising change is that the socially-remedial-minded T.O. finally openned his eyes to their tactics, and verbally stiff-armed them for what seems like the first time.
Not intentionally to defend T.O. or to divert attention, enters Rodney Harrison's T.O. comments, NFL Commentary value (or lack thereof), NBC Sports presence, and HOF worthiness.
Rodney Harrison… NFL Hall Of Fame!?? He was probably a ‘dirty player’ at Kickball when he was in grade school. He’s actually the “Big-mouth Clown” who most likely won’t even last a full season on NBC. The only way any likeness of him should EVER be in the NFL HOF is that of him being posterized… as “THAT GUY that David Tyree made a Top 3 Best SB History catch” against. And on a 25-feet-tall photo.
[Included caption to young NFL Fans & Aspiring Hopefuls underneath reading something equivalent to...] “No matter how many you win (undefeated**) in the regular-season games of life, if you are known by your peers to be a Dirty Player and you Cheated with banned enhancements… in the end you will ALWAYS lose when it counts the most.

This is a gathering of links, stories and votes that the editors at NBCSports.com like. Hopefully, Newsvine also like 'em.
Personally, I think it's time for TO to be released from the NFL so he can get his career going at the nearest Texico gas station.
