Unfortunately for Tom, the Pats as a team have never been glorified as the Giants, Bears, 49ers, and others in decades past. Simms had Bavaro and McConkey, McMahon had Gault and Payton, and Montana had Rice and Clark. Now who did Brady have? Don't remember...
Football is not any more a GAME, but a WAR in the trenches, of violent, mean, and destructive men, taught to hate as enemies do against enemy. If blood is not spilt, then nobody goes home happy, and those that lose, see their futures ALL in jeopardy..... You can already see this in high school, and college football, where some kids are already OVER 200 pounds, and tackle with a ferocity of almost the professionals.....I am sickened to watch it today. This current article says it all, and one can believe it 100%, out to get Brady....
Man the game is way more tame now compared to the 30's, 40's, & 50's.
It was a crazy game then.
It is now BIG BUSINESS and all about what have you done for me lately and what can you do for me tomorrow. WIN WIN WIN - true.
But there is NOTHING like football - some 100 or more plays from scrimmage lasting 3-10 seconds where it is critical that all 11 players can count on each other to do their job for the team to succeed. God what a great sport !!
Frank Bus.. I agree if you can not compete on a level playing field.. then just destroy some one so we do not have to compete and play as well.... very very sad.. but most sports have become this way and all the leagues, assocations etc. have let it happen.
All sports are becoming all about POWER - and any means necessary to win. Finesse is a thing of the past. Even tennis for crying out loud: Fans screaming and being obnoxious, some players wearing outlandish clothing, and players being touted for how fast their serve is above everything else. 140mph serves may win a point, but they do not add to the wonderful finesse of the game. The greatest pleasure of this year has been watching Melanie Oudin, who has no power serves, is not big and tall, but who does have a lot of finesse in her game...and she is winning! Amazing! It goes against the grain of today's mentality. That said, there are many changes in tennis, and in other sports, that are NOT good. Golf is the only sane sport remaining...for now....

He won titles, I thought there were other players out on the field. When does the ass kissing stop with this highly overrated QB?
50 TDS to only 8 PICKS
Highest scoring Offense in History.
YEP - thats overrated ???????????
Yeah ummm from a 6th round pick to Super Bowl winner and leader of a modern day dynasty.
Oh yeah and the MVP award after his 50 TD season (NFL record).
But no he's definitely overrated.
PS - he's knocked up two of the hottest women on the planet :)
Tom: Please, please whatever you do, don't mess up that pretty face.
Love,
The Women of America
Oh Tom this, and oh Tom that................PLEASE! He's a p u n k.

Who wants to make a beat, that if the Pats go to the superbowl, the ratings will suck?
